Multiple Park Entries on a Single Day

I have a question regarding multiple park entries on a single day. My DW heard that in order to enter 2 or more parks on a single day or to re-enter a park, you will need to get your hand stamped as well as show your pass.

Is this true for the UPH or APs? We are AP holders, and since this will be the first trip with our kids we might just be facing this situation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the AP you will need to use it each time you enter or re-enter one of the parks. For the UPH's you will need to get your hand stamped as you leave a park and will also need to have the pass when you re-enter.

They do require a handstamp for pretty much every type of passes (at least that's what I've been told by cast members when I've used UPH, AP's, and regular park hoppers). That being said, I can't remember the last time that someone actually checked a handstamp on me. But I always get them when I walk out anyways, just in case.

Basically, you need a hand stamp for any type of pass that does not use the finger scan for ID. Therefore, people with AP's, or Florida Resident passes, who already are scanned to insure their ID, do NOT need a stamp. UPH's do require the stamp, as there is no other way to insure that the person using it is the same as the one who used it early.

Although they say they require them, I have only once seen them actually check for the hand stamp.

Every type of pass that allows you to visit more than 1 park per day, except annual pass will require a hand stamp.

We visited over Veterans Day weekend and saw lots of CM's checking and double checking hand stamps. It seems that they can check without you really noticing when you go through the turnstile but if they are unsure or have a question they will stop you. We saw one party denied access and referred to guest relations at Epcot on Monday the 10th - evidently only 1/2 the party had hand stamps and the tickets had all been used that day at other parks.

As an AP holder I always carry my ID and I have my kids get a handstamp as they arn't finger scanned. This way if we do alot of park hopping or there are any questions we are covered. Once when I was getting my "last rides" and shopping done I visited all 4 parks in one day and was asked to show id at the last two parks.

We've had APs for two years and never get our hand stamped. They try when we leave a park early, and we just say, "AP holders" and they don't stamp. I hate getting the stamp on my hands, but makes me feel icky, don't know why.

As a Florida resident seasonal pass holder I can tell you that we have been told at the exits that we have to have our hands stamped when leaving in order to re-enter another park in the same day. I don't know if this is true or not but I always get mine stamped just to be on the safe side.
