I'm guessing you are renting points? I'd price out BLT. Pool isn't as nice, sure. Maybe that's not the main consideration for January. But being RIGHT ON MK for a once in a lifetimes kind of trip like this is special, and BLT's chart is low enough it might be competitive.

The BLT theme park view is on my bucket list, and you'd only need one of your rooms to be in that category. Standard view is competitive in points and difficult to book. Kidani/SSR should be easy to book, even in a couple months.

Worth looking into this, IMO. We just rented a 2BR lake view at BLT (multigenerational with my parents and our kids), and could still see the MK fireworks from one of the balconies (though, would not be able to fit OP's whole party on that!). And you can't beat walking distance to MK.

Kids 3-12,,,AKL Kidani,,,3 bathrooms and the animals. Also you would only need 2 2Bdrms and then maybe 1 studio if GP want their own room. Kids that age dont care about a pull out vs murphy bed. At least mine did not.
