Mulan Is Back

This am I got a call from an atty at the Kentucky Domestic Violence Assoc. she gave some good ideas to pass onto my atty's and she knows my atty near co and had good things to say about her

Although, she couldn't really help me out, she asked me to ask my attys to call her. And they could brainstorm together.

She suggested- 1. That the custodial interference charges MUST be prosecuted. If JTB doesn't deal with it on July 14th then I should get the 1/2 way point county to step in and see what can be done. She said in both cases- since the children came back unharmed, they are both misdemeanors but in any case, a misdemeanor as they add up can add up to something down the road
2. she also suggested that my atty or I file a formal complaint against the state trooper for not abiding by my court papers- I emailed my atty about this and I will see what she has to say before I proceed on this on my own

The last thing she said to me was something that is so sad and yet very very true- In my case, a 3 month time period has NEVER went by that we were not in court. The court sees it as 'everytime he messes up, I bring it up in court' although, they should see it as ' he does not abide by the court orders and will not cooperate and that leaves me with no choice'. I REALLY WISH that JTB will get tired and transfer this case- The last time I brought anything up was in October for the physical abuse. Them DAMM brought up in January a false claim of contempt against me which landed me the 12 1/2 hours in jail So I am hoping that JTB will see how hard I have tried these last several months - DAMM is not normal and therefore this back and forth may never end. This is a very sick and expensive game he is playing.
And lastly, IF WE ASK JTB to sign off the case and he says NO- then I am stuck for good. Of course I could appeal the decision but then again they may side with JTB and then I would really be glued to co forever So we will just have to wait longer- maybe after Monday, if everything gets spelled out so there are NO LOOP HOLES then that should avoid any court appearences for a long long time! And then we can ask JTB to sign off

Thank you. I am getting anxious for court on Monday...I feel like as if I am going into battle. I am preparing myself mentally and trying to get a good respectful, self- control, self disciplined focus.
Sadly, I haven't heard back from my atty- she not much of an emailer or caller. But I feel confident that she will be prepared.

I hope you guys will join me in prayer for the judge in county.
That his eyes and ears will be open to the stunts DAMM has pulled over the last several months and that he will see how hard I have tried to keep things calm since last October (not bringing anything to him and that this time its a real necessity). Pray that all the loop holes will be filled and that he will hold DAMM accountable for the 2 custodial interferences, that he will hold DAMM accountable and responsible for missing his 5 weeks summer visit and that he indeed FORFITTED his time. And lastly, pray that the Judges wrath doesn't spill over to me
Today, I am busy getting laundry done and getting all my documents together, and enjoying watching DD and DS ride their bikes Hopefully this afternoon we can go swimming.....
I will be leaving around 5am to get the kids to their babysitter and get me down to co by 9am! I will send word as soon as I can tomorrow!

We are in a situation ourselves and I am learning that focusing on the children's needs is what is the most important thing...9yo is having panic attacks and sudden OCD behavior, hubby refuses to tell the therapist that HE is Mr. Uber Anxiety (for example, he left Epcot to return to our resort to use the restroom). He is angry and sullen about it, and as pi$$ed off as I am at HIM, getting HER better is what is most important right now.

Keep your eyes on the prize...the KIDS and their well-being! Ignore DAMM and do NOT let him get a rise out of you. Calm, cool, and collected...you are the James Bond of the courtroom. Did you know when you grit your teeth, you are forced to near-smile and it makes deep breathing through your nose easier??? Practice! Embrace the grit!

Well all went as expected. JTB decided to let DAMM finish his 4 weeks of summer visit- he did not feel that he forfitted his time because he got confused So since there are only 4 weeks left till school starts- DAMM gets the children beginning this Friday till Aug 15th! I just knew he was gonna do this so I told my atty just in case, I have no problems with this----hopefully DAMM will send them back early!
JTB did yell at DAMM over the whole phone visitation crud he has pulled- DAMM stated that everytime I called he answered and asked the children if they wanted to speak to mommy and they said no...the truth: I called 30 times since Feb, DAMM answered the phone 4 times and I got to speak with my children only 3 times- my atty wants me to keep meticulous records over the next 4 weeks and bring this back if I don't get my phone visitation- the JTB will then have no excuse but to hold DAMM in contempt.
DD has been crying this afternoon- she doesn't want to go that long, but I am trying to be positive and I have all the things we had ready to send back in early June- it'll be all right
