On the Douban website, the largest Chinese movie/TV ranking site, the Disney Mulan animation (1998) is the highest ranked show of all 17 Mulan movies/shows ever made in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the US, at 7.8 out of 10. The Mulan Remake is currently ranked at 4.8 out of 10, from 120,000 votes.

In the US, the remake got a 75 out of 100 from journalists.
According to a news release, 1.12 million households in the US have downloaded the movie.

Frankly, the Mulan remake and Disney deserve criticism. Especially since Disney has virtue signaled with changing Splash Mountain, a ride that isn't problematic, about how woke they are and how much they care about humans rights, and then thanks the Chinese government who puts Muslim Uighers in concentration camps. They hypocrisy of the current company is maddening.
