Mulan and Pocahontas

We will be traveling to Disney in 11 days. DD 5 has met all the "princesses" but has never met these two characters. Where can they be found if at all?

in the parks, your BEST bets are...

China in Epcot for Mulan.

Conservation Station in DAK for Pocahontas.

at this time, both appear in their respective spots daily and regularly

Havent seen Pocahontas but have seen Mulan in China at Epcot.. you have to walk to the right once your in China as I've seen here down by the shops..

Last March '06 we saw Mulan in China/Epcot, and then suprisingly bumped into her and Mushu just inside the MGM entrance, off to the right.

The places that bradk mentioned are the most likely places to find them. For China, Mulan usually hangs out in the back of the pavillion near the shop. As for Conservation Station, you do need to take the Wildlife Express train to get there. You can board it in Africa and after the train you will have to walk to the Conservation Station building.

Mulan and Pocahontas sometimes appear at the Hat at MGM after the parade, but there are no guarantees. China for Mulan and Conservation Station for Pocahontas are the more reliable choices.

Not sure if you are interested in a Character Breakfast but Mulan was at Epcot at the breakfast in Norway. Can't think of the name right now of th restaurant!!

Akershus, which is not pronounced the way you think (unless you're Norwegian/Scandanavian?) the meal is Princess Storybook, but no particular characters are guaranteed there.

Saw both Pocahontas + Meeko and Mulan +Mushu at the hat at MGM after the MGM Parade (at around 4:15pm) in February 2007. I dont know if this "event" (not announced in the time guide) is still happening but back in Feburary, everyday after the parade at around 4:15 many many characters would come out from Star Wars and would walk to the hat at MGM and stay there for a good 30 minutes. Too cool! Thats where I got to see Tweedle Dee & Dum, Alice and Rabbit all together

In Dec. last year we saw Mulan in China at the back of the waiting room to go into the theater.

We saw Pocahontas and John Smith in Adventure Land during a pirate and princess party.

After we watched Pocahontas' show in AK she said the kids could come meet her, but I do not know if that happens after every performance.

Mulan is a great character to catch in her EPCOT location, from our experience. The day we were there nobody was stopping to meet her (which is sad I guess) but that meant we got to casually talk with her for some time. We also asked when Mushu would be out and she said he was meeting with the guardians but she was going to go find him in a few minutes and would like if we stayed to meet him. So, we sat on a bench and when she came back she got a really excited look on her face and waved to us and told Mushu he had to meet her new friends.

Everytime we are in China we always see Mulan....it seems like she is always out

When you enter a park, go straight to Guest Services or City Hall (at MK) and ask where and when you can find the character you want to meet.
They will have the schedules.

the Pocahontas show at DAK is not a traditional meet & greet spot. for reasons I won't go into here, it's up to her if she wants to do it or not, but it's usually not.

characters do show up around the hat at scheduled times in MGM, but it's random. today I saw Mary Poppins with Mr. Penguin, Jasmine, Chip & Dale, Minnie, Lilo, Alice, maybe a couple of others.

I will stick by my advice. Your best bet to see both of them is exactly where I mentioned them in my initial response. If you see them elsewhere, great, but I only mentioned reliable spots.

We have also seen Pochohantas at the entrance of AK before you enter the ticket gate in the a.m. and several times at Rafikis Conservation station. Be sure to strike up a conversation with Mulan. She is very funny and quiet adorable.

I was there today too! I only met Alice though. I did not want to meet the others.

Glad to know there's a reliable place to meet Pocohantas! DD10 is past the princess stage, and was hoping to see Pocohantas other than in her show at AK. Thanks for the info!
