Mugs at HHI

Now that Orlando has changed from resort specific mugs to a "universal" mug that can be refilled at any self serve location, does HHI participate also? Can I buy a mug in Orlando and use it in HHI also?? Thanks.

We were in HH last week of April and we purchased HH specific mugs with 2007 on them. The price is at least $1 less than WDW mug and can be filled at the lodge and pool locations.

When I said the lodge I meant the community area Tide Me Over and the gift shop now has a soda area to refill the mugs after Tide Me Over closes. Sorry for the confusion.

We just returned june 1 07 and the mugs have not changed over. I was disapointed that they didnt. But we got our moneys worth.

HHI does have mugs. I do not believe HHI or VB participate in the universal mug program (I didn't even know there was one). Tide me over has the refill station, but you have to have someone fill your mug for you. When they close at 5pm the gift shop next door has access to it. They don't have a refill station in the lodge, but they really should.

Most of the resorts are now selling a "generic" Year of a Million Dreams themed refillable mug and are no longer selling the resort specific mugs they did in the past. (The only 2 WDW resorts I have not seen named as having the new mugs are Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary.)

Based on the wording on the new mugs it is being interpreted that they can be refilled at any of the resort beverage islands during the length of your stay rather than just at the resort where you are staying.
