much needed advice...please on or off???

With purchases we tended to buy them as we were leaving the park and then just leave them in the car. Disney used to have a delivery to the exit service for non site guests, I don't know if they still do that.

Both times when we stayed in a villa just did washing up and that was it. The place didn't really get messed up because we were not in it that much really.:) It was handy having a fridge to store food in for snacks when we were back there.

The next times we went we have stayed off site at Comfort Inn LBV (not recommended because of noise) and The Rosen Centre x 2(South IDrive and definitely recommended). We still manage okay in one room with kids who were 15 and 17 when we last went, though it would be lovely having the extra space of a villa again. I quite fancy sitting in my own hot tub with a glass of wine and chilling.

I only fancied staying on site when the kids were younger and more into Disney but it was always too expensive for us then. Now they are both more into the attractions of Universal and Islands so this year we are staying on site at the Royal Pacific, which we are all looking forward too. We have 2 rooms which I think will spoil us a bit, just hope the kids keep away from the mini bar/fridge thing in the room!

I dont know if everyone cleans. It could be just me. ASk people if they clean whilst staying in a villa. Personally I could not live in a villa unhoovered or polished for two weeks.

We're never in it long enough for it to get dirty!!!! We're always 'out and about' doing something!! Just wish our home could stay as clean and tidy!!!! LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously, I still think a half and half holiday would be the best way to go. That way, you'll get a feel for both and not get too hung up on the 'cleaning'!!
I must say, we now enjoy staying in a villa, as our 'kids' are now 15 and 20, and we don't visit the main parks as much as we used to - always go to DTD, and the water parks, though!!
But, when the kids were younger, the 'magic' of staying on site was worth its weight in gold. To be a bus ride/monorail/boat ride away from 'Breakfast with Pooh' is just 'magical' for young ones. All the Disney hotels (well certainly the ones we've stayed in) are in such beautiful surroundings with places the kids can walk to in complete safety.
Whatever you decide, I hope you have a great time!
Tracy
