Has anyone flown Midwest? I saw an ad in the paper and checked it out - their fares are pretty low, $198 per person for a flight the end of August. I get excited anytime I see something under $200! Any experiences?

Many thanks
Susan

I have never flown them, but I have read many good reports.

They are also flying out of the Humphrey terminal now.

I've flown them before between MSP and MKE and was very satisfied. My sister used to live in Milwaukee and flew Midwest exclusively - she travels every week for her job. She loved Midwest!

Midwest has a pretty good reputation. I think they always make a stop in Milwaukee or Chicago though.

I have heard lots of good things about them. We're using them for our trip in early December. We have 8 people in our family and were able to get a group rate with them and I was very pleased with their customer service.

I almost always fly Midwest. Very good service. I'm always very pleased with them.

My wife is being transferred to Fort Snelling and I have been looking for airfares from MSP to MCO for our upcoming DCL cruise in September. I noticed the Midwest fares and thought they looked pretty good. Stop overs aren't very long.

Potentially looking at booking her one way on Airtran on 9/16 then back on Sun Country on 9/27. She doesn't want the early morning Sun Country MSP to MCO flight at 6:15a.m. But, I was also looking at the Midwest flights. The flight on 9/16 is the pricey one as its on a Friday, at least that's what it looks like.

I haven't flown midwest, but would like to sometime.

I saw NW rates were $196 nonstop Aug23-30. Just checking, not buying yet.

herc.

I live 10 minutes from O'Hare, ALWAYS make the one hour drive north to Milwaukee to fly Midwest if it fits my travel plans, and almost always does. I most often go up the night before, stay across the street from the airport. They drive me over in the AM, while I leave my car at the hotel. When I return, I call, they pick me up, drop me off at the car, I drive home. I will be using them next week to fly out to Boston.

I have been flying them for about 7 years now, great airline. Check the rates online, www.midwestairlines.com, the advertised rates may be not including taxes and various fees. But still, even if a bit higher, you will be pleased with MA.

I (cheapskate!) will fly Midwest, even if it costs a little more. That says it all!! :teeth:

We will be flying Midwest for the 1st time in Sept. I was wondering where you stayed the night before. We're from a small town so I've been a little concerned about leaving my car at a hotel parking lot, but from your comments that shouldn't be an issue.

Midwest Express....I can't say enough about them. I lOVE LOVE LOVE THE SERVICE!!!!
