So I'm starting to seriously look into how to plan my days and am in need to help... DH, DS2 and I are going in December and plan to watch MSEP on a Wednesday, which is MK PM EMH. So my questions are can I wait and park a stroller beside me or are there designated spots I need to find? How long do I need to wait for a premium spot by the hub? Can I wait and save a spot for my DH and DS2?

In December, everything will depend on WHICH Wednesday.

You can TRY to save spots, but understand that there can be hundreds of others looking for places to stand in/near the hub.
You may find that any spots you thought you were saving will be filled in an instant with other guests.

And, again, in December, (even if all of you are together) the date you are there will fully impact the amount of lead-time you will need to find hold your spots.

Date we are planning is Dec 7- first Wednesday of December :) is there a designated stroller area though or can you park anywhere by the taped areas? Thanks so much!!

1. That should be the "easiest" Wed. of the month. I'd arrive 60-90 min. before parade time.
2. No. (Can you imagine the number of strollers that would be? ;) )
3. Anyplace along the parade route.

Less crowded than on Main Street, but still spectacular viewing can be found near the Hall of Presidents, or deep into Frontierland, past the Country Bears.
(BUT... from those locations you won't be able to see the spectacular, not-to-be-missed show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle, "Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.)

Thank you very much!!!

Currently on Dec 7, 2016, there is only one MSEP. It is at 9pm with Wishes at 10pm. You should not watch Wishes in front of the castle because the big fireworks go off behind the castle and the castle blocks the viewing for them. Your best spot for viewing MSEP and Wishes is closer to the ice cream shop. Just be sure to be in the taped area because they may let you stand there for a while but they will make you move close to parade or fireworks time. You can easily save spots on the curb with yourself and a stroller. Tired people will start sitting on the curb for the parade about 2 hours ahead of the parade time but you should find a good spot 60 minutes before. Once the parade is over, people will fill the streets to view the fireworks. If you are willing to sacrifice the castle view of the parade and fireworks, you could find a very good last minute spot, for the parade in Frontierland and easily move down to Fantasyland to watch the fireworks. The best spot there is just past the carousel (from Frontierland). Be sure you can see the Beast's Castle for the best viewing. Be warned that watching this way will split your fireworks viewing because some fireworks go off (VERY CLOSELY) at the castle and some fireworks go off over the Beast's Castle so watching them is a bit like watching a tennis match. But it can be a very special experience to be in the middle of all those fireworks. (Small children may be frightened because the fireworks are very loud and very close.) I believe you can even still catch a glimpse of Tinkerbell when she flies. (Weather permitting.) However you would miss Celebrate The Magic which is shown just before the fireworks and really is amazing.
