MS waitlisted me for the wrong month!

Called last summer to book our July OKW trip. Booked 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom planning to call just after Christmas to change the 2nd week to Vero. Have done this quite a few times.

So Monday after Christmas I call and get a less than helpful CM on the phone...just didn't have the Disney Spirit but was not rude.

Explain what I want, she checks and says there is nothing in a 2 bedroom for that week. Ok, I tell her to please wait list us for that time and as the nights become available to cancel those nights at OKW.

Everything is fine, but I just keep having this nagging feeling that something is wrong. So I call again this morning.

Explain to new CM that I am just worried things were not right. Thank heavens I did...She checks to see that my OKW reservation is fine...but that my wait list is for June instead of July like I need!!! I about flipped when she said that!!

Even she was saying Thank goodness you called! She was wonderful!! Spent quite a long time with me making sure everything was done right.

Got all but 2 nights confirmed and am waitlisted for those nights

Thank God I listened to that little voice in my head!!

Good call on your part.

I've had a sinking feeling about a waitlist I have for April. Booked at OKW, waitlisted at BWV. I think I'll call Monday.

This is one of the reasons why I wish they would send something to confirm the wait list that is in place.

What I have done, the couple times we wait listed (and will do so in the future) is to send an email to MS via the member website to confirm my wait list right after I hang up.

This way, I get an email back that specifically states that I did indeed have the wait lists in place that I wanted.

I am so glad that you were able to get things fixed without having things messed up!

This is really sad, but your best success with MS is to call back and check anything that can't be verified online.

This happened to me for our trip this past October. I called for BC studio at the 7 month mark for F& W and nothing was available so I booked BW. The CM put me on the waitlist for BC. After a few months I decided to call to check on my waitlist and was told I was not put on the waitlist. I went crazy. They put me on it about two months before arrival and I think it was about two weeks before we left that I got BC. So anymore I always check the next day to see if everything is OK.
