MS problems

there are alot of new MS - last week I called to make a reservation - one day was missing so I had to take 2 reservations.

I called the next day - and got the day that I wanted. the MS did not understand that I wanted all the days on one reservations - she made another - so for a trip of 5 days I had 3 reservations.

So a little later I called again - finally got someone who had been there long enough to understand what I wanted and got it for me. She was wonderful!!!

Kathryn is her name and she is GREAT!!!

you don't appreciate superior service until you get people who can't do it!!!

I have been trying to get a written confirmation for one of my cash nights since I made the ressie in january . I called last week and added a night and the MS CM promised I would not only receive the missing night but an updated ressie showing all the points and cash nights linked, we'll see.
DD made a ressie same time I did for family and still has to call to get the last 4 days as a written confirmation. Every time she call's they send her a copy of the first half of the ressie. Now she has 5 of the same. The first part of the stay is points with cash for the weekend and points to finish up the second week. She has never been received a confirmation showing it all linked even though it was done through MS. She is told don't worry about it, they see it as linked in their computer. The family member staying with us would like a paper confirmation for the whole trip and I can't say as I blame them. DD works at the hospital and works until 5pm or after and the office is to busy for her to call from work and tie up the phone. She can only call on Thursdays and that's if she gets home in time so she is starting to get a little We are going to need a vacation just from making vacation reservations Susan

You know, even though not every CM over there is 100% versed in every working of the system, I have to admit, I have always had lovely conversations with all of them and have received the most pleasant service.

It is nice when you get someone who really "knows" the computer sysytem though.

I don't know if it is your situation or not.

but before I canceled the other reservations - that last lady (Kathryn - the one who know) - says I would probably not receive a confirmation for the other reservations because they are linked.

so that may be your problem - but if you don't link them - they are separate reservations.

I was afraid my guest would have to check out and back in - and yes they do have to go to the front desk each morning to check back in - but they shouldn't have to move. this is one main reason for having one reservation confirmation number so my guest would not have to check back in.

I would call back and see if you can't get someone who knows the system. See if they can put all your reservations together with one number. I know they can't do the cash nights that way - so it will still be linked. maybe someone else can find a way for the system to send you a complete confirmation reservation.

you do realize for cash discount that DVC members get - that the DVC member MUST be staying in that room.

forgot - yes all the MS are great people to talk to - and most of the time they give superior service.!!!

Yes, everyone I have spoke to at MS have been very nice and pleasant. But for some reason i'm having problems getting the confirmations after many calls and promise's that it would be handled correctly THIS TIME . We also knew DSIS would not receive the DVC discount. We made the ressie at the regular rate for her and plan on calling cro when AP discounts come out. She said she just may pay the regular price so she doesn't have to recheck in due to cro ressie. In october I had a point night followed by 2 cash nights followed by a point night and it was linked and I didn't have to recheck in. Of course this was done through MS with the member discount. Susan
