MS is way better than WDW-Dine

I am on hold right now with MS, and they told me how long my wait time was, 6 minutes. That is a lot better than waiting 1 hour without knowing and then still not getting the tables and character meals you want.


ps. I was not calling MS for priority seats. i just mean I like the wait times notification
 
I agree, knowing the approximate wait time makes the waiting so much less painful. I don't know why they don't do this on the "regular" WDW phone line.

By the way, you seemed to be apologizing, there's nothing wrong with calling MS for priority seating. It's part of the perks of membership and as you already pointed out so much more efficient than WDWDine.
 
Interesting. When I contacted MS, I was told they didn't do PS's, and I had to call the regular number.

Perhaps they were not able to help because you were attempting to make PS at one of the few restaurants that need a credit card confirmation, such as Fantasmic Dinner Package? That DOES require calling the regular line, MS can't do PS ressies that require a credit card.
 

I had the same experience as K9pal. MS originally told me that they could not make PS. I said, "Funny, every other member I know makes theirs through MS." (I was not trying to be rude -- I really thought I was mistaken, not the other way around). She put me on hold and came back on and took may PS details. This was just last week. I guess maybe you just get a newbie that is not aware that they can make PS (or they just don't like to for some reason and claim that they can't).

Are you sure?? I have made two PS arrangenemts that both required a credit card, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review and the new Luau at the Poly. They made both for me on two seperate calls and had me confirm with a CC. Now I also made reservations at our home resort both times I called, maybe that made it possible...smjj

I am basing what I said on the info I read in the links I posted above. A couple of people made this comment, one used the Fantasmic! dinner package as an example. Boy, I guess there are exceptions to everything, I better be careful before I make statements. This is the second time today I thought I "knew" an answer but had a part missing.

Anyone know the policy for sure? My face is red!
