MS able to switch cash reservation to points?

I am waiting to find out if I've passed ROFR, but was wondering...once my DVC account is loaded, is there anyway for MS to switch an existing cash reservation (at Pop) over to a DVC points stay? I wouldn't want to lose my park and ADR reservations

No. It is different inventory. Your ability to book with points will be limited to what is available on the DVC member website.

It you are within 60 days, when breakage may be offered on the WDW website, you can call to see if MS has the ability to pull a room back, but most often, I don't think they do.

I think I understand, but if I were to book whatever was available via DVC member website and want to switch my dining and park reservations, they wouldn't be able to do so?

As long as you book the DVC one before canceling the cash trip, there should be no issue since you will still have a reservation and tickets.

Just book the DVC room, link it to your My Disney Experience account by entering the DVC room reservation number and matching the people on the reservation to your Family & Friends list (it doesn't automatically link the way it does for cash stays), then cancel the Pop reservation. You should be good if you do it in that order.
