Mr. Rebates Question

Morning every one. I have a question about Mr. Rebates. I have never used it. I know how to do it, i.e. you go through their website but I am wondering how and when you get your "cash back"? Do the send it to you? How often?

My cash back usually posts once my order has shipped...so anywhere from 1 day later to over a week later. The cash back then sits in sort of a 'pending' status for 60 days to make sure you don't return the order, etc. Once you've hit your 60 days the cash back is then available for you to cash out. They pay at the end of each month, but you do have to request your check or paypal payment, it isn't automatic. I just try remember to go in on the 29th or 30th to request my payment. And if I forget one month I just have a bigger check the next month. I think there is a minimum you have to have in order to cash out, maybe $10? I never have an issue with the minimum because I do so much online shopping so I'm not positive of the minimum.

Thanks. I am thinking of making a large purchase and the rebate is substantial. Have you ever had a problem getting a rebate?

Very, very rarely, and when that happens I just file an inquiry (you can do this once your order is 30 days old) and they have always credited me at that point with no problem. I have made numerous large purchases and have never really had an issue. I am almost at $1,500 total in cash back since I started using Mr. Rebates a few years ago. They are my main cash back website I use because of their reliability, but I do also use ShopatHome and Ebates on occasion if the cash back percentage is higher than Mr. Rebates. So I would say to shop away with no worries! Enjoy the free money!

I use both mr rebates and ebates and always compare the 2 to see who is giving the best rebate as they do change from time to time and run double rebate days etc.
