MR BACK's Back!

castlegazer - You never know, your back problems may be job related :confused3 I was shocked when I heard my neck problems are job related  Kevin told me I could claim workmans-comp, but I'm not going to do that :sad2:

I was being sarcastic - they are totally job related.

 hey everyone!

Busy, busy - gotta run! :beach: Just kidding - busy with work. :car: TTFN!

Good Friday morning!!!!

We are leaving this afternoon for Indianapolis, so I won't be DISing until Monday. We are staying in a train car in Union Station, which is something I've wanted to do for a long time :thumbsup2 . While we are there, we are going to the zoo on Saturday and the Childrens Museum on Sunday. It should be a fun weekend!!!!! :cool1:

Have a good weekend everyone!!!

Finally, after all day trying to post a reply, a finally can :thumbsup2 I have been going through some serious DIS withdrawl!!!!!

Okay....so where do I start :scratchin I guess I will start with my doctors appointment yestereday. So, the results of my MRI showed that I have a very irritated swollen joint in my neck, bulging discs, and arthritis in my neck :headache: . So the doctor suggested me to get the epideral, cortisone (sp?) shot in my neck/spine. He said that this should help everything. If it doesn't help the joint, then I can get a second shot in the joint at a later date. He also said that my job is what is causing so much irritation to the neck because I am looking down 90% of my work day. I guess it's a good thing that I'm only working 2 days this summer :thumbsup2 .

Then yesterday I witnessed a terrible thing at the mall. A lady and her 4 year old DD were seperated and this mother was frantic!!!! :scared1: The mall had an announcement going over the loud speaker about the little girl as the mother was SCREAMING for her. I have never seen anything like this, and I was so scared for her. My stomach got tied up in knots and I wanted to cry for her :sad1: . Luckily in about 3 minutes, her and her DD were reunited to both of them crying alot. I was so happy for her!!!!

Today, the buyer of my Grandmas car came and took it away - a very very sad moment for the family  My Grandmas car was her pride and joy!!! It was a 1977 Oldmobile Cutlass Supreme w/ 35,000 miles on it. It was in perfect condition and she loved that car!!! The buyer was an older man and we know he will take good car of it. He told my mom that he was going to name the car Irene after my Grandma :goodvibes - what a nice guy!!! :)

Slo - both those stories brought a tear to my eye. I have no children but I will tell you that once my horse got away from me and started running down the street (back to this place I boarded) a car was at the stop light and he (the horse) wouldn't stop of course I thought for SURE the car would hit him, in that moment I knew the panic of a parent missing a child... the guy at the stop sign did stop, and my horse jumped (at an angle) over the hood of his car - YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS MAN's FACE - it was amazing... thank God we jumped in competition - it could have saved him from being hit.

Needless to say - I moved from that boarding place to one way OUT from the city - where we are surrounded by dessert... no more car vs. horse situations for MOI!!!!

Good Monday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

HAPPY BELATED FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MR. BACK'S DIS DADS!!!! :teeth:

We had a very nice weekend!!! :cool1:
The train car that we stayed in was really neat, but I would never do it again. The room is very long and narrow and we only had 2 double beds  (that's all that would fit in the room) . Trying to get a good nights sleep in one of those beds when you are used to a king size bed is not easy :sad2: We brought a blow-up bed for Stephanie to sleep in, and I hated it!!!! Everytime Stephanie would turn, it would sound like you are rubbing a balloon. Then the next night we put Katie in it so Stephanie could sleep on the bed, and the poor thing tossed and turned all night - that meant I didn't sleep all night :sad2: Needless to say, that thing is going back to the store  I was so glad to be in my own bed last night, and I slept really good!!!

Friday after we checked in we went to Circle Center Mall (in Indianapolis) and saw Cars. I really enjoyed it - very good movie. :thumbsup2

Saturday we took the kids to the Indianapolis Zoo, and it was a really nice zoo :thumbsup2 The size of the zoo was perfect - not to big and not to small. We didn't stay all day because it was so hot out that day :sunny: and Katie was getting crabby. So after we left the zoo we went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway :car: so we could take Stephanie on the bus tour. She enjoyed being on the race track, and I enjoyed seeing all the changes that's gone on within the speedway.

Sunday we went to the Indianapolis Childrens Museum and that place was awesome!!! I would recommend going there to all you that have young children :thumbsup2 We were there for approx 4 1/2 hours and we could have stayed alot longer, but we wanted to get on the road to come home.

So outside of feeling like we were in a sardine can, and not getting much sleep in our hotel room - we had a great weekend!!!! :cool1:

How scary  :faint: !!! I'm so glad your horse knew to jump out of the way!! :)

Well, I gotta run everyone - have a good day!!!

Good morning!! :surfweb:

Yesterday was such a great day!! I got a lot of laundry done, planted more flowers, and the girls and I went in the pool :sunny: I'm starting to really enjoy only working 2 day a week :thumbsup2 :teeth: .

Today I am going to work. I hope there is something to do there, because I hate sitting around doing nothing.

Have a good day!!!

Slo - I'm so happy for you. Getting to work the schedule you want is SO important to a happy person. Getting to be with those little ones when they are young - gosh that's just GREAT!

I am so far behind already today, but I'm not going to drive myself crazy. I am going to hit the gym - and then go into work.

Have a good one - y'all!

Thanks!!! I couldn't agree more with you ::yes:: This is the first summer that I am able to spend this much time with my girls, and I'm just loving it!!! Katie says to me the other day, "I love being home" (in her little 2 year old voice) and it brought a tear to my eye. Both my girls have always loved the daycare that I took them to, but it's apparent that they love being home more :goodvibes .

Were you able to get yourself caught up? I've had so many days like that too. No matter what you do, you still feel behind - I hate that!!!! But I don't drive myself crazy either :sad2: - there's always tomorrow!!! :thumbsup2

Well, I gotta run and get Stephanie up for school. Have a good day everyone!!

I could not drag myself out of bed this a.m. - but I did hit the gym at lunch. Whew - not that was a good work-out. It totally revived me too! Plus got out all the frustration of the day!!! I just love my new job - being close to home, the gym - really helps with the schedule load. All my "errand" places are right around here too - so some days I can get that done. Sure beats the 32 miles commute one WAY I used to have with the boss from h e double hockey stick!

And we are heading to DL to meet some new dis friends on 7/14!!! I just love this website!

Good Thursday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

Yawn I am so tired
1.gif
. I've been staying up late studying every night, and I think it's catching up with me. My first test is Thursday (a week from today) and I am getting really nervous :worried: . It is over the first 10 chapters, and there is so much information in those chapters. I'm just glad that the test is before 4th of July so I don't have to worry about it and I can enjoy the holiday.

I see the mods have rearranged the smilies again  . I wish they would make up their minds so I can figure out where everything is. This is a good change though, because I didn't like yesterday's arrangement at all :sad2:

Have a good day everyone!!!

Hi everyone. I hope you all have had a nice week. It is Friday!

Tiggers Pal - It bet you are going to have a ton of fun at Disneyland. How nice to get a break from the heat. I must confess I am a tad jealous...
