Welcome back Cadsmom, we have missed ya. Wow the PP is going cruisin again! Lucky!

Hubby is home. He surprised us late Friday night. We decorated all the trees out front with red, yellow and blue ribbons and had a sign for him. Thank goodness I put it up on Friday afternoon. We were not expecting him home until Monday . He is happy and tired. We have been doing lots of family stuff. Will take the boat out this week and the boys are dong deep sea fishing today-I passed.

Good FRIDAY morning everyone!!!

Today is Katie's last day at daycare for the summer. As weird as this is going to sound, I'm going to really miss that place - I've been going there everyday for the last 5 years. The one thing I'm not going to miss is the bill .

Today is also the day that I'm going to the Pain Management Doctor to get the results of my MRI. Nothing is going to be done today, this is just a consultation only. I'll let you all know all about it later.

Yesterday Stephanie was with my mom all day and they had lots of fun. They went to a splash park and then McDonalds for lunch. Then last night, my mom took Stephanie to her house to spend the night - how nice of her!!!! I have a such a great mom!!!

I'm so glad that your husband made it home safe and sound!!!! I bet he loved how you and the kids decorated the trees for him. You should have someone take a family picture by these trees - it would make a nice photo . Have a great weekend with your DH at home!!!!

I am still laughing at NC Beast's mom/dad/niece's message on our machine. His folks were singing happy birthday and our 6 year-old niece was singing "cha-cha ding". I think she got that cha idea from a toliet paper commerical.

Finally, after all day trying to post a reply, a finally can I have been going through some serious DIS withdrawl!!!!!

Okay....so where do I start I guess I will start with my doctors appointment yestereday. So, the results of my MRI showed that I have a very irritated swollen joint in my neck, bulging discs, and arthritis in my neck . So the doctor suggested me to get the epideral, cortisone (sp?) shot in my neck/spine. He said that this should help everything. If it doesn't help the joint, then I can get a second shot in the joint at a later date. He also said that my job is what is causing so much irritation to the neck because I am looking down 90% of my work day. I guess it's a good thing that I'm only working 2 days this summer .

Then yesterday I witnessed a terrible thing at the mall. A lady and her 4 year old DD were seperated and this mother was frantic!!!! The mall had an announcement going over the loud speaker about the little girl as the mother was SCREAMING for her. I have never seen anything like this, and I was so scared for her. My stomach got tied up in knots and I wanted to cry for her . Luckily in about 3 minutes, her and her DD were reunited to both of them crying alot. I was so happy for her!!!!

Today, the buyer of my Grandmas car came and took it away - a very very sad moment for the family My Grandmas car was her pride and joy!!! It was a 1977 Oldmobile Cutlass Supreme w/ 35,000 miles on it. It was in perfect condition and she loved that car!!! The buyer was an older man and we know he will take good car of it. He told my mom that he was going to name the car Irene after my Grandma - what a nice guy!!!

I'm glad they figured out what the pain stems from and a remedy.

I see a chiropractor now, and I noticed about the third day of my vacation that my back didn't hurt like it now does every day. Hmm, job related? Hmm, I wonder I am a mess with stress perceived and stress from sitting, typing, hunching over, carrying huge files - just a mess. Can't wait to be done with all this.

Good Tuesday morning everyone!!!

I'm not working today, and I'm still up at the crack of dawn - am I crazy or what!!!! I actually do like being up early in the morning when the house is nice and quiet Plus....I get most of my housework done in the morning

Today is mine and the girls first day of activities at the library. This activity is for Katie's age, and Stephanie will have to be by herself in the childrens book area. Then tonight is my first night of Real Estate School I'm looking forward it!!!

castlegazer - You never know, your back problems may be job related I was shocked when I heard my neck problems are job related Kevin told me I could claim workmans-comp, but I'm not going to do that

Good morning everyone!!!

Today is Stehanie's first day of summer school ,and then afterwards we are going to the library to see Ronald McDonald Stephanie was still awake when I came home last night, and she said she didn't want to go to summer school (I think she is a little nervous). I told her that she'll be done with school before me, and that made her a little happier I also explained how important school is and how you can never have to much school. I think it's good that she's me going to school (I also took some education classes at a local college before Katie was born), and has seen her father go to numerous FD schools, so she understands that school doesn't have to end when you are a grown-up.

My class was good last night, and I'm going to learn alot. My head was kinda spinning when I came home from the amount of info we covered I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting the kind of info we would be covering - but hey....that's okay!!! I have 5 chapters to read by Thursday, and I came home and read 2 last night. So you all know what I will be doing this afternoon while Katie is taking her nap .
