MR BACK's Back!

Sounds like a terrific plan... I am so excited.. I can't wait until we are there...

NC Belle sure you can't sneak away for just a few days to play with us...?? We are going have so much fun...

I didn't upgrade my pass--needed to save some cash for Thanksgiving/Dec. road trip to both sets of relatives.

We are looking for new cities to explore for 2006 (I am still hoping for a 2006 WDW trip).

I used Deb's all ears net to price out some snacks---it depends on what you want so maybe at least $12-15 per booth w/o adult beverage ($3-4+ a sample). There were only a few booths that had water/soda handy, but iti s usually an easy walk to regular counter service. The beer seminar had a prince/princess table set up because no minors were allow at the tables. I got the guide handy if you need info on the free seminars times (be early).

Good morning everyone - did you all enjoy your extra hour of sleep last night??

We watched Herbie Fully Loaded last night and it was pretty good. I always enjoy it when we find a movie that we can watch together as an entire family - I'm pretty particular on what I allow Stephanie to watch.

Have a good Sunday everyone and talk to you all later!!

Morning! Do you all feel one hour 'closer' to me now? I love that it's now easier to reach my NC brother, but I'm one hour ahead of all the people I work with in LA. I'll probably be switching my work hours from 8:30-5:30 to 9-6 so I'll be available to them through their entire work day. It works better for the commute and I really enjoy having that extra 1/2 hour in the am (to DIS).

Well, today is beauty day.....hair color and pedicure...and I think I'll throw in a nap to make it pure decadance ::yes::

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

 well well well, you all have been chatty. Doh, nevermind...I see llebrekniT came back, now...that explains it!

Nice photos everyone, but I have to admit...I missed the one with snow. :confused3

geffric most all the booths take rewards, cash, room charges or cc's. I don't think I paid cash for a thing last year. You are NEVER going to be able to try everything though. Here's a tip...stop in France and taste the free (yes free) tastes of wines. They sell some to take home and will let you taste. It's a nice size tast too. :)

cadburysmom any luck with catsuits?

I just finished making a couple batches of pumpkin butter. Recently, I've ben burning myself everytime I cook. EVERYTIME! I have 3 very nice burns on my hands and forearm now. One was so bad it blistered, blistered under the blister and the blisters just came off yesterday (from a month ago). I've lost several fingerprints. :(

Oh well, enough about me. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Tye is a pumpkin and Grant is a hockey player. We went to Boo at the Zoo yesterday, out of town, by my mom's place. We'll be carving

Happy Haunting!!!!

Hey all, we just got back and I just finished catching up... Not a whole lot of time, so quickly, happy Birthday/anniversary/general events to everyone...

Geffric, PD to you and Cheeringmom, and everyone else who needs it...

TinkBackwords, Glad to see you back! We were thinking about you yesterday... Ian got a virus and has been throwing up everything we feed him. We are giving him lots of Pedialite, and some Camomile/Ginger Tummy soothing stuff. WE REALLY NEEDED YOUR ADVICE (and everyone else's too... I couldn't help but think of your trip from heck... I am glad he was only sick for the last day and a half rather than the whole trip.

We had good and bad this trip, but didn't take IAN on half of the rides we wanted to.

We came in on Saturday night, and went straight to the room. Sunday we went to EPCOT to get passes and DDE cards. Lunch at 11 Dragons...IAN met FIGMENT at his house, rode JIYI3. Then they started shutting the park down for wind. Went back to the room, got the car and did a grocery run.
The storm wasn't too bad, we missed a half a day at MK, We rode Dumbo, IASW, and Pooh, Philharmagic. Met NCBELLE and NCBEAST for Dinner at CRT. Watched Wishes from inside (Seats weren't the best).
Tuesday, back to MK for CP ADR, Ian's first Haircut, Back to Hotel. Slept, went back for ADR at LTT for MNSSHP. IAN dressed up as a Bull...SOOO CUTE... Watched Cinderellabratiom, saw the horseman, rode Buzz Light Year, Found a spot for Happy HallowWishes (awesome) IAN Slept through the fireworks, and we took the opportunity for a baby swap on Sticth (not worth it)
Wed late start, we did DTD- Lunch at Rainforest, back to Member update (found out member cruise Itinerary) Went back to DTD, Walked up to Fulton's...Hour wait...Power shopped World of Disney...
Thursday we were getting ready to go to MK, when MAD4MICKEY called...Plan Change. We went to MGM and MET RICK&JOE (Deffinetly a high point) Dinner at Le Cellier, then Illuminations... IAN really enjoyed it!!!
Friday, AK for breakfast with the Osaurus's, Rode Triceratops spin twice, Kilimanjaro Safari, Back to the room, and more shopping at DTD.
Saturday...Went Swimming with IAN, got back to the room and he was sick...Rest of trip was spent in room or going to store.....YUCK.

BTW, IBOUNCETOO, Artist Palette REALLY SUCKS. The roast beef is low quality, and they did a bad copy of Earl of Sandwich. The PB&J is only available on a kids meal, was 6.25, and was one of those Smucker's crustless sandwiches with an apple sauce and small pack of crackers. The sandwich I had was nauseating. The Chicken Nugget Kids meal was pressed and yucky.

That is the basic trip, pictures to follow (eventually)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone has a safe Halloween!!!

LEWSKI stole my Halloween smilies I was saving for today!

Welcome Back OF and RRBB!!!!

Baby sickies on trips sucks but seems to happen often. I didn't see a haircut in that report did I? Did it happen?

I am sooo excited for tonight! My son is totally into it this year. We went to a Halloween costume party Saturday night which was AWESOME!!! The people throwing it really get into it and had decorated their house with so many cool things and made it soo spooky.

I have to get to work, so I will report back later with more detail. For now, though:

Hi all, Baby is still throwing up a lot. All he will drink is PediaLite, and we are giving him all he will take to keep him hydrated. RRBB will call the DR back today and see if he wans us to bring IAN in. This is the first time he has been sick, and to hear him... it is a sort of a moan/whine/whimper. He just sounds sick. Temp is 99, and he is doing a lot of sleeping.

As far as Dole Whips, we never made it to adventureland... Nope, The only time we were on that side of the park was our ADR atLTT. No JC, no CBJ, no DOLE WHIPS... Nada Zip...Not enough time, and travelling with a baby is definately more time consuming.....

Halloween, I guess we will stay home and re-gift the WDW candy ;). We had planned to go to my mom and dad's house... he has the cutest bull costume (horns/no utters) with a sign saying "Eat More Chicken"

He isn't going to his music class today... I hope he feelsbetter soon; he doesn't even want milk....

First haircut... He was asleep, and woke up halfway into it. He just sort of took it in. I was talking to ONECOOLMOMMA (from the Dis) and She caught me on Video...

The Halloween fireworks were awesome. IAN LOVED ILLUMINATIONS.

Best Meal? Fultons Crab House. I had the Crap Claws and Lobster Tail. Florida Crab Claws... Yummmmmmm Grilled Lobster Tail...MMMMMmmmmm.

Note to self, they had a 4 oz Filet on the kids menu...

Worst meal? Ibouncetoo, please pay attention... Artist Palette. I ordered the roast beef and Portabello Mushroom sandwich. It SOUNDED GOOD. The Roast Beef was cheap, and I didn't like the taste. The Kids Meal (Chicken Nugget) was just gross. It was that pressed chicken. It was worse than the original Mcdonald Chicken Nuggets. RRBB also got the Portabello/Roast Beef sandwich. She agreed. We also tried the Kids meal PB&J... It was one of those grocery store "Smucker's Crustless" round sandwiches. I had no prob with the sandwich(RRBB ate it), but the $6.25 price was very steep. All in all, I think the place needs a new menu.

Best Ian Moment? Probably at CP when he started talking to Tigger!
Worst Moment? When we had to leave, and knew we were going to be late checking out, upset that we were leaving, and almost to agree with the wanting to stay IAN threw up right into his suitcase. We were not pleased, and we wanted to stay, so I guess I can start planning our next trip.....

It was also nice to finally meet RICKINNYC.

Most frustrating thing? we kept walking by this area on the way to DTD there was a section of sprinklers that were one for at least 4 days. Everyone we talked to was unconcerned. I mean it does come out of our maintenance fees... We reported it no less than 5 times. No one seems to care.....

Oh well... Gotta Go...

Man, definately take him in - no question. He needs to see the Doc if the throwing up has been going on for many days.

First baby sickness is really tough to take. It does get easier, but its always heart wrenching to say the least. I hope he feels better soon!

As for time consuming - YUP! You just smell the roses a lot more - no more park commandos - no siree. We spent a lot of time in places I had never been before, like the Rose Garden in MK and Town Hall where they play the movies on Main Street. My son needed time to get out and run around and there are few places to be able to do this safely when they have those wobbly legs.

I am glad you got to experience what you got to experience - it now leaves tons more to do next time.

ONECOOLMAMA Is one cool mama - I am jealous you got to meet her- she seems very nice.

How much cash do you think we should have? Geoff and I want to try everything... do they take the disney rewards dollars card?
DH and I always brought a whole roll of $1's. When we were out, we were done for the day! I completely agree about using cash. We forgot to get cash before we went last weekend and many of the machines were VERY slow....so i was constantly THAT person holding up the line!

Got it. Artist Palatte is OFF the list!

Of course Ian was talking to TIGGER...he knows who the BEST character is ::yes::

Glad you got to meet Rick.....ah, some day!

Have I mentioned that I got my cruise documents today? NOW I'm ready to GO!

CG, Well, We called the DR, and talked to the nurse. She told RRBB that she is not really torturing our son. She is a good mom. From RRBB's concise description of the problem, we were told that we are doing the best thing possible. It is probably a virus that will take a few days to work through his system. She told us to watch for a few problem signs and that in a couple of days he will be back to his smiling self. Meanwhile, I have been tired and have a sour stomache all day today. I guess I have sympathy pains.....

Ibouncetoo, I am soooo jealous. It seems like forever since we were at WDW... I wanna go on a cruise....

Oh, Rick is a really cool individual. I am proud to call him a friend. We caught up on what is going on with him and Joe, and even Bill. I tell you what, Jessie is sure a pamperred pooch when you compare her life to Bill's.....

Okay, I did download one trip picture so far. Day One--10/20

Tilt your head until I get my rusty dinosaur to fix it later.

Good morning? :sunny:

How was everyone's Halloween? Our was very wet, with a lot of rain :umbrella: Stephanie didn't get to far before she was complaining of having soaking wet feet :guilty:

I hope you all had nicer weather for trick-or-treating and got lots of candy :goodvibes

Have a good day!!

Good morning all. First off a
HAPPY BELATED BDAY

NCBELLE :cheer2: :cheer2: :thewave: :bday:

Glad you all made it back safe n sound. OF, sorry to hear about Ian being sick. Sending hugs his way. and glad you got to hang out with the coolest of the cool-MAD and RICK

I am so jealous of the Chocolate Sistas trip. You guys will have a blast. A perfect time to go!!!

I was having a tough weekend. We were at Seaworld and just being so close to WDW made me ill! I wanted to go soooo bad. But only with one day to do anything, we thought we'd give Seaworld a try. It was fun and the weather was perfect.

Off to start my day. Have a good one

Oh, OF, sorry, it makes it easier, even if its not helpful at all, to at least go in to the Docs and see them and have them tell you everything is OK. How is he feeling today?

Our Halloween night was spectacular weather - therefore, we got bombarded. Its was shere caos. Thank God my DH had gotten a quiche at BJ's during the day and was able to just throw it into the nuker to cook while we ran back and forth to the door while getting my son ready to go back out and get some candy - CAOS!

It was fun - it always nice to see the neighbors for a few minutes.

CG, you are so very nice. The baby is much better. he is still not himself. I had some of the tummy soothing meds we got for him and it helped.

Well, I talked to our AC guy and there is one of the parts we need in the existence. The unit is 11 years old. I could order just the part we need, or replace the unit. Parts are getting difficult to find, so I was talked into putting in a new heaing assembly. They will install it on Thursday....

Oh well, Guess I should get back to work...
