I'm trying to find my DH a MP3 player for Christmas. They had i-Pods for $200 and it played 1000 songs. He travels and has wanted one for a while. Needless to say, i-Pods are hard to get your hands on around here. They guy at the store recommended the Creative Zen. It plays 2500 songs, has voice recorder, FM tuner, yadda, yadda, yadda. Has anyone had one of these or have any opinions?

Not a Zen, but I'm listening to my Creative NuVo N200 while I'm typing this. I've had it for 3 months, and absolutely love it! It's about the size of a pack of gum, and that makes it perfect for the gym.

NuVos only have 512mb of memory, and so hold about 8 CDs worth of music. That's a lot less then you're talking about. But it has some of the same features, like an FM tuner and voice recorder, and they all work flawlessly.

So if a Zen is of the same quality as mine, you could do a lot worse, IMHO.

Thanks so much. I was beginning to think no one here had an opinion...which is so unlike anyone around here :rotfl2: Okay, I'm feeling a little better about the purchase.

I was looking at Ipods from work today for my DS16. Apple's site has free engraving and shipping. If you choose the free engraving, it still ships within 1-3 business days.

I have the creative zen nano plus. Its a 1gb. I absolutely LOVE it. It comes in all different colors. I listen to walking to class and at the gym. Plus it has the FM tuner which is a huge bonus if you ask me.
