Seriously...does my neighbor have to mow the lawn at 7 am and weedwack at 8 am? :scared1:

And they complain when I have bbq's in the summer that, God forbid, last past midnight.

Ahhhh. A feud. He's gettin' back at you for the bbq.

It doesn't really bother me, as I seldom sleep past 7:00 am, but I do think that lawnmowing should be saved until at least 8:00 am. As far as your BBQ's, as long as they are quiet, I see no problem with them going until midnight--but bringing them inside after midnight is probably a good idea.

JMHO.

Yeah my other neighbors actually always say how "impressed" they are that they can't hear me as if I stay outside, I make sure to keep the guests quiet. If I can tell we are getting loud, I take it inside.

This particular neighbor is just a grouch.

My neighbor does that too - then takes all her grass clippings and dumps them onto our property. (along with her leaves in the fall and all twigs etc in the spring @@)

Last week I was outside saying loudly so she could hear JUST MULCH IT and she shot ME a nasty look - lol Hey - not MY fault that you think it's ok to dump your garbage on MY property.

Fence time. Big one with a growling dog on the other side. ;)

:rotfl2: She shot YOU a nasty look? I think the B word definitely describes some people. Let's team up on our neighbors...I'll come over to your house first then you come here. ;)

I actually started mowing my yard at about 7:45 this morning. I live in the DEEP south and if you dont get it done early its way too hot to do later in the day!!

Same here..We mow as early as we possibly can. It gets hot early and I have things to do so I get the mowing out of the way.

I don't have much sympathy for my snoozing neighbor whose grass is sitting there knee deep while they sleep in.

But what about one whose grass is neatly kept, like mine? :teeth:

Most places I've lived conform to a 10PM-8AM standard -- nothing from within someone's property should be audible outside of the property between those hours. 7AM is a little early IMHO, but I suppose it might vary by time zone -- I've noticed that in the Central Time Zone, most things happen an hour earlier -- work starts earlier, work ends earlier, people get up earlier, people go to sleep earlier.

Ummm, my husband took his mature self outside this morning and mowed the lawn at 6 a.m.! Why? Last weekend, one of the neighbors called the sheriff on my son who road his gokart around the block.

Yep, it's the Hatfields and McCoys over here.

We're just trying to keep up with you guys in the eastern time zone.

:thumbsup2 Ooooh, let me know what they do next! :rotfl2: This could get good. popcorn::

Well for you, I might wait till 9.;)

:woohoo: If you want to move to NJ, I found a lovely home for you. :rotfl:

7:00AM weekdays and weekends around our neighborhood. By 8:00AM your are sweating bullets.

Take pictures, sounds like Judge Judy material:thumbsup2 .

We never start until 10:00am, we just feel the weekend is for everyone to sleep in. But, I have given up and hired someone to do it now. Tired of it taking up Saturday morning.

I did have a neighbor in SC that was mowing at 10:00pm on Saturday night. I couldn't believe it. He had just bought a new riding lawn mower and it had a headlight so he could see at night. Didn't bother me, thought it was funny.
