Only 2 weeks till our trip
we are super excited to be there prior to Christmas and see Disney at that time of year :cloud9:

If we are checking out of Pop and moving to Carribean, will they transport our luggage for us?

Is it possible to leave our luggage to be moved... go to the Park, and then return to our new resort and then check in?

thanks for the replies!

You can do exactly that. We did it this past April. We moved from POP to POR. Go out the front door of POP, turn left to the lugage counter. Ask for your bags to be transfereed to the next resort. It will take a good part of the day. When you get to your new resort (after playing at the parks), check-in and have them see if the bags arrived. ALso, when you get to your room, call baggage services and TELL THEM YOU ARE IN YOUR ROOM. This was the delay for us. They said you need to call to let them know to bring them to you.

We have split resorts as well ... we were advised to call the front desk when we were packed and ready to leave POR. They came to our room and put tags on our bags and gave us a receipt thing/copy and took them. We went to the parks, etc. When we got to the POLY and were assigned a room, we told them we had bags there and they had them sent up to our room. :-)

Just a friendly warning. Please be sure to take anything valuable with you. We had a split stay in the spring - Contemporary/BWV. When we originally checked into the Cont. they asked if we had a computer as they have a special secure place for them, so naturally when we went to have our luggage transferred we let them know again that we had a laptop in the one bag (it was a new laptop backpack). We never saw that bag again, and spent every afternoon but one for the rest of the week on the phone, trying to track it down and get it resolved. Apart from the laptop, there was camera equipment, our car keys to our car that was parked at an airport 3 hours from our home(boy that was fun!), and numerous other items adding up to around $2500.

I'm not saying that I would never have my luggage transfered again, but I will most certainly have anything valuable with me. We thought we were doing the right thing by telling them that we had a computer as they had asked us about it at check-in. We thought that this would keep it safe, but obviously we were mistaken.

Just wanted to give you a heads up! Enjoy your trip!

thanks for the replies everyone :)
we will be very careful of the laptop
Hope it won't be busy, seems a lot of resorts are full!
