I will admit to being more emotionally invested in Jake and the Neverland Pirates than I should be. I think it is cause I'm a mom and I have watched it so much.

I was so sad when Captain Hook cheated and won Bucky. Then when they made Bucky a submarine I was furious and texted a friend about how wrong that was. She understood. Oh the joys of watching preschool shows!

That was a fine movie, rated 6.4 on IMDB, so it can't be that bad. But watch it as a double feature with Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

I was curious to see how bad it was supposed to be, and was disappointed that it wasn't horrendous at all. I never understood all the hate it received. It's not a GOOD film by any criteria, just run of the mill fluff, but I ended up liking it.

That's how I felt about Snakes on a Plane. We were all excited for this BAD movie to be just SO STUPID and awful that it was enjoyable in that B-Movie kinda way...then it's like it turned out to be a mildly serviceable action movie that wasn't nearly as cheesy as the premise itself. It certainly wasn't great, just okay, so it ended up being totally forgettable. They tried to hard and it failed them.
