Movie Night

love st.elmos fire! love that andrew mccarthy!

Sex and the City movie comes out Tuesday--not for the kiddos, but great for girls night out!

i'm looking forward to seeing that one.

my ds wants the new indy jones movie and i told him to put it on his santa's list. i just hope it will be out for christmas.

...Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles (the boys only for the hot RED sports car!)
Weird Science...

LOVE Breakfast Club, and would add Pretty in Pink to the list.

Of the more recent movies we've seen, we really enjoyed Vantage Point, There Will Be Blood, Dan in Real Life, Untraceable, No Country for Old Men, Sweeney Todd, In The Valley of Elah (Tommy Lee Jones is such an amazing actor), Juno...can you tell we rent rather than go to the movies ;)

Movies that have been a little disappointing...Burn After Reading, Mamma Mia, Sex & the City. Maybe they just didn't live up to all their hype.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE going to the movies. There's just nothing like sitting in the theatre watching on the big screen. But DH doesn't, and it's difficult to get there with a 4 yo, so I don't go nearly as much as I would like.

Hairspray! ROFL at John Travolta, who is perfect in the role of Edna

Some classic musicals - Hello Dolly! with Barbara Streisand and My Fair Lady are fun evenings!

Mel Brooks and Monty Python are great for laughs!
