Does anyone know if you can carry on glow sticks? I want to bring the kind we got from Target in the cardboard container, but we're only taking carry on luggage. I don't really want to have to throw them away, so I thought I'd ask the experts first.

From my experience, I'd say no. Glow sticks have gel in them. Depending on where you're flying from you might get through, but I'd leave them at home. :sad1:

I had a package of six glo-stick bracelets in my carry on last July, no problems at all - not enough liquid in them to cause any problems. Have a great trip!

as long as there is less than 3 oz. of fluid in them, they may be ok. Check the TSA website, or call your airline.

I've moved this over to the Transportation board.

Dollar Tree stores around Orlando sell glow sticks. If Target has them in your area, they probably have them here too. I've seen them inconsistently at Wal-Mart too in the fishing department. You should be able to just buy them here.
