I've searched here and elsewhere online, time and time again, to no avail. Might anyone, PLEASE - for the love of Mickey - post the complete and accurate lyrics to the "Move it, Shake it, Celebrate" Parade song? In each and every version I've seen, the words get all garbled, and no source that I've been able to find fully spells them out. One might think that Disney would want to publish them to encourage fuller audience participation. If they already have, forgive me, and please direct...THANK YOU!:worship::cool1:

I did my very best since it is hard to understand some of the words they are saying. Hope this helps!

Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now
Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now

Get those party moves on, Look around you're gonna find, we're all here to see you shine so let's celebrate
Your life, your dream and everything that's in between
Shows you how much they mean, that's why we say
Here's your chance to join the celebration
It's time to seize the day

Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now
Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now

We're in the right place, right now, everybody in the crowd, here's your chance to let it out, it's all about you
We're all here (lets go) gotta make this party grow
Together we can make it flow right through the roof
The music's gonna start a celebration
It's time to seize the day

Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now
Hey get up, get loud, start pumpin' up the party now

Thanks, Lillian! I'd seen the parade twice before - raved about it to no end -
and am going again in October. Can't tell you how many times I've watched video clips to figure out the words so I can pass them along to my family members who'll be joining me. We six siblings, four in-laws, and three grandchildren are trying to make this a memorable experience for our frail Mom who will be seeing Magic Kingdom for the first time at the age of 79. She was a high school Theater Geek who was in all the shows - WAY before "Glee" was ever conceived - and her own mother used to sew every stitch in her costumes after working two jobs each day. She still recalls every line of each song from plays like, "Oklahoma", so it would only seem right that she had all the words necessary to join in on this one! She's more than giddy to be going - at long last - and it will be a joy to see MK through her eyes this time! Your help is immeasurably appreciated, and will - no doubt - become a part of the experience for us all! I'm so impressed by the helpful community here! I know that MY first time at Disney was marked by constant reminders to, "Have a Disney Day!"...I don't believe the Cast Members say that anymore but here's wishing you and all, one and the same!:cheer2:

I'm glad I could help! I don't think every word is right in the lyrics I gave you because it was hard to understand some of the words, but I hope they are close enough that you will know most of the song. Your mom sounds so wonderful! I know she will enjoy this experience. I've never watched GLEE and it's based on one of my rival high schools. But I do love theater and musicals. :lovestruc I hope everything goes perfectly once you are down there watching the parade. It will be so magical!
