I got the same info, and she wasn't very pleasant either:
"Do you have the code?"
"It's not a code, it's a general package that's supposed to be released to the public today"
"without a code I can't look anything up"
"Can you tell if something is being released today?"
"No - there is nothing new in our systems"
"Can you tell if something may be in your systems later today?"
"No - call back later if you think there should be."

And that might be giving her too much credit for politeness. *shrugs* Or perhaps I'm more sensitive than normal because I got almost no sleep last night.

The one I spoke to was rude too. This is the one thing I really hate (and I don't like using that word) about Disney. Everything is a secret, just let us know the information so that we can just call when available instead of thousands of people all calling with the same question

Just got off the phone with WDW, they said there are no discounts released this morning for Jan-June. She said I can get an AP discount for certain dates in Jan - Feb 12 but that is all that is available right now.

Maybe it is a 5pm release thing??

What number did you call? The phones at Disney don't open until 7am. How did you get through to someone at 6:38?

Ok, here's another theoretical question...........................

I've already booked and payed for my package 8 nights tickets, ddp & airfare. So...........if it is the stay 4 get 3 free, how does that work. Do they just credit me back for 3 days?

I've been up all night thinking of the possibilities. On a good note, I booked my Illuminations cruise at 4:03 this morning!

What is with all the cm's this morning and being rude. I blame it on Disney and making them lie about the offers. Just release the information, I don't understand why the secrecy. Just say an offer will be released on X day at X time and then no one will bother calling until then. Disney corporate brings this onto themselves with everyone calling in at 7am trying to get the info

Make sure you take the little survey after your call if they are rude. That is NOT the "Disney" attitude and people should not be dealing with that.

I think if this B4G3 includes the dining we will switch our plans and book it. If it is just room/tickets, I'm going to have to think really hard about it. I personally would rather have a flat 40% off and have as many nights as I want. Or I would be fine with free dining the whole week!

They are the only company that I know of that has this secrecy thing going. Most other places that I deal with for travel and other things announce that they are going to have a special offer ahead of time and say which day the special offer will begin. I think the secrecy thing is really stupid and just ties up their phone lines with people asking about the discounts trying to get info. They can avoid all of that just by releasing the information
