Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

I had this deal in 2003, and yes, you would have to add on the extra nights as rooms only. I added on 2 extra, but was able to use a AAA discount.
I really hope dining is included in the 7 for 4. The room part is a good deal, but the extra days of tickets are not an impressive discount.

That is how it worked then but Disney has changed their reservation system since then so hopefully that won't be the case where you have to add on nights as a room only to either end. We need to wait and see once the promotion is actually available to book

Thanks for the information. I'd have to do the math and see what the cost for the extra days would be, plus see if we could extend our park tickets into those days.

The last time this deal was offered, it was before the MYW ticket system. I'm not sure it'll work that well with the MYW tickets for those who want to stay 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13 days.

We'll have to wait and see exactly what is offered and how it works. I hope that the code comes sooner than 5 PM, though.

I think they will be giving 8 day tickets if it is for 7 nights. I am thinking of adding the water parks and the non expiration to mine. We may only be in the parks for 4 days, then a day of waterpark, then a day to relax. I think we are also going to Sea World and Kennedy Space Center the following week after WDW.

How ironic is this!
Before reading this post I told DH that I want to go to Disney for our 5th wedding anniversary in May! We originally had planned to do that but since we wer there 3 times in 14 months we thought we'd skip 2009 and do something else.
DH loves bargains so if this deal is real, we're there!

We had decided not to go until next Nov. at the earliest. Now..... I think I have DH talked into a 7 day trip in June if the deal is good.

I have two questions!

1. Has anyone ever had this type of promotion, and paid extra to turn the "extra" three day tickets into non expiration for use on a different trip? (would make Disney more money when I go back!! )

2. If you book for the full 7 days, do you have to do the dining plan for all 7 days if you take the dining plan for the first 4? (thinking we could spend the last 3 "free" days doing Sea World, relaxing, ect.

Just got off the phone with WDW, they said there are no discounts released this morning for Jan-June. She said I can get an AP discount for certain dates in Jan - Feb 12 but that is all that is available right now.

Maybe it is a 5pm release thing??

Just got off the phone with a CM. She told me to watch for TV commercials and for a release on the website.... darn it all!

I got the same info, and she wasn't very pleasant either:
"Do you have the code?"
"It's not a code, it's a general package that's supposed to be released to the public today"
"without a code I can't look anything up"
"Can you tell if something is being released today?"
"No - there is nothing new in our systems"
"Can you tell if something may be in your systems later today?"
"No - call back later if you think there should be."

And that might be giving her too much credit for politeness. *shrugs* Or perhaps I'm more sensitive than normal because I got almost no sleep last night.

I emailed my TA to change our ressie a little to take advantage of the 3 free days IF the package is released and IF it is 4 and 3.
