What is the protocol? Do we tip each morning? About how much do you tip?

Thanks! Shannon

I would like to know too. Also, I would like to know where to leave the envelope, on the table? bed? I have no idea where.

thanks

It isn't nescessary to tip, but if you would like to, leave it out in the open in a clearly marked envelope.

Many people tip $1 per person per day.

WE tipped $5 a day...we had 2 adjoining rooms with a total of 5 people. We left the $ under the mouskeeper tag (where they write in their name and to call ext xxxx if you need anything else) and she took it each day.

We never came 'home' to find towel animals, but the kids stuffed animals were always in new poses, as is were some of their toys. The kids got a HUGE kick out of it! I know not to expect it, but it was nice of her to take the extra time to do it!

Oh, we left the tip each day since you didn't know if your mousekeeper was going to be off the next day, then her tip would be given to someone else!

You can print out really cute Mousekeeping envelopes. They can be found at
www.mouseforless.com. We cut them out and left them where the Mousekeepers could see them. They're really cute and the kids enjoyed leaving them out!

We tipped $5 per day for 5 adults and 2 toddlers in a 2BR at SSR. I used an envelope labeled "Mousekeeping" and while we didn't get any towel animals, we got lots of extra soaps, coffee, etc. Since we paid cash for our ressie, we got daily mousekeeping and when we saw one of the ladies coming in (as we were on our way out one morning), she said "thank you" to us and left some extras. Everyone likes to feel appreciated, esp. mousekeepers!

We tip $5/day and left the tips on the counter in a cute li'l mousekeeping envelopes. We've gotten tons of extras, including towel animals. And our room has always been well cared for.

there are 3 of us, we always stay at pop century and we leave $5 per day. i print off mousekeeping envelopes and leave them on the table between the beds. they are always taken and our room is always well cared for.

I plan to leave $5 a day for mousekeeping. I am going to have my kiddos help me decorate envelopes to leave each day.

any time we go to hotels we always tip 1.00 per person per day,

at disney on the first day we left the money on the table for the mousekeeper and came back to the room to find the money still on the table, it so happen that they were still doing cleaning so I went and gave the money personally to the lady, she told me they are not allowed to take any money from the room , and I had forgotten to print envelopes so ,I went to the front desk and was given some small envelopes for each day, I asked the housekeeper if they preferred the money at the end of the stay but she told me they usually have somebody different everyday so they preferred every day

we came to the room to a little surprise everyday!!! my kids could'nt wait to get to the room just to see the "surprises"

We've always done the $1/day per person, and never thinking, left it on the last day when we were leaving. It never even occurred to me (until a few months ago) that the same mousekeeper doesn't do the room everyday. I'd feel horrible if I left her $30 for our stay and the weekend worker got all of it. This year I plan on leaving a seperate envelope everyday with $2-3 in it.

I left $5 per day for the 3 of us. I put it in an envelop marked "Mousekeeping" and had dd decorate them before we left. I did leave it every day because I figured we would have different people each day.
