Hi. Our first trip in a LONG time. I see service is now every other day, no problem, but whats a good amount for a tip? And do the still leave little towel animals or is that a thing of the past?

Thank you!$5/day seems fair. If we get to know a CM (and we have over multiple years) we give them a nicer cash tip as a personal thank you.
Thank you, any towel animals? We were there a couple weeks ago - just DH and I and we are very neat. We left $3/day and $5 on the day we checked out.
There was a Mickey Head the day we checked in and then one day during the week she made a little scene with a throw blanket we had brought from home and a towel swan.Thank you, any towel animals?
While I know Mousekeeper is a position that doesn’t expect a tip, they do such icky work that we leave $10/day. We go the week before Thanksgiving so leave $40 as the final “Happy Holidays” tip.
After all, if we can afford to vacation at Disney, I believe we can be more generous than a mere $5/day. You can’t even buy a good burger for that most places anymore. What the Mousekeepers do is worth so much more given how much I hate housecleaning.
As ever, YMMV = Your mileage may vary.
We also leave $10/day. The last day I leave $20, but if I were to go over a holiday (I’m not usually that brave) I’d probably leave extra as well. I’ve never received anything but excellent housekeeping at Disney - even after shutdown. Thank you. I make an envelope addressed to mousekeeping and say thank you.I agree with $3-5 if you are neat and only 1-2 people. If you have more people or are messy I would probably leave $5 and maybe a bit more on checkout if you're feeling generous. I have gotten many thank you's written back (I usually write on a note to make sure they know to take it) and the occasional towel animal display and I usually leave $3 for just me and $5 if I'm staying with one other person. We usually hang towels and have everything quite organized on a towel on the counter so really all Mousekeeping needs to do is make the bed and empty trash.
Thank you. Agreed it’s a job i wouldn’t want. While I know Mousekeeper is a position that doesn’t expect a tip, they do such icky work that we leave $10/day. We go the week before Thanksgiving so leave $40 as the final “Happy Holidays” tip.

Thank you.I left $20 on our last day. They don't consistently come every other day and when they do come they just take out the trash and sometimes leave fresh towels and toilet paper. For our 9 night stay we had two weeks ago, I think we had our trash taken out twice. We did have "visual checks" twice.

Maybe it’s only deluxes that have full housekeeping back? Trash and towels is supposed to be every other day at the other resorts but apparently even that bar is too high for DisneyWhat resorts are you guys staying at that you received excellent mousekeeping?
We were at CSR for 9 nights and got trash removed twice with new towels. We also received more toilet paper once. They didn’t make any beds or wipe anything down or do anything else.
Back in the day (pre Covid) we used to leave $5 a day plus $10-20 on checkout day. That’s when they made beds and actually cleaned daily.
