Mousekeeping question

We are staying at BWV for a week and wanted to know how many mousekeeping days are we to receive during our stay? Also, can you pay extra to have daily service? If so, what is the cost per day?

Others can confirm but you normally get trash and towel service twice a week usually (wed and sat).

You can also pay for daily mousekeeping but it is not cheap approx $20 per day.

If your stay is 7 nights or less, you will receive Trash & Towel service on Day 4 - Day 1 is check in day.

If you want full housekeeing services, you may request them from housekeeping. Charges dpend on the size of your unit.

For a studio, the charge is $25 per day requested
For a 1 bdrm , the charge is $30 per day requested
For a 2 bdrm, the charge is $40 per day requested
For a 3 bdrm (Grand Villa), the charge is $60 per day requested.

Extra Trash and Towel services are $10 per day requested, regardless of unit size.

In a 2 bedroom, you should have towels for 8 (the maximum room capacity). Note also the washer/dryer in the unit, so it's quite easy to do a load of towels yourselves if you run low.

Ahhhhh, I totally forgot about the washer/dryer units in the condo. Is washing powder furnished?

We found a single-load box of detergent in the unit when we checked in. The resort store also had mini-boxes of detergent (enough for about 4 loads) for purchase. Don't know if any sort of fabric softener was included; we brought f-s sheets to use.

When we joined DVC we were worried about not having daily maid service. Now we actually LIKE not having a mousekeeper coming in. We don't feel obliged to keep every valuable out of sight and we don't have to worry about whether or not they will arrive at the least opportune moment. I see that you will have 7 in a 2 bedroom, which may mean you are worried about lots of mess, but maybe you won't really miss it?!
