We have always had excellent housekeeping at Disney resorts. No complaints ever, but I gotta say that I'm chuckling a bit over the posts about the deluxe.
One would think you'd get the best housekeeping at a deluxe. Having stayed at all levels, I can honestly say the best housekeeping we've experienced at Disney was in Pop Century. Our rooms were immaculate during three stays. We got towel animals, and anything we asked for (like shampoo), they gave us a ton.
We had a soda accident in the room at night. Three people showed up after I asked for fresh sheets at the front desk the next morning--a manager, housekeeping supervisor and a housekeeper--just to make sure we were satisfied guests.
I'll tell you--paying more does not equal great service. The Pop Century Resort goes over and above to give you a spotless room.
