Does anyone know how much these are now a days :D

And do they still have the option of embroidering the childrens names on them? If so, do you know how much extra that is? I'm just trying to get an idea.

I want to get some for my DDs to wear when we go in October.

Thanks!

Hello! We got DD pink ears when we were there two years ago. We went to the millinery shop on Main Street at MK. I'm not sure if my memory is correct, but I think I paid around $6-$7 for them. Again, I am not going to swear this is correct, but I think the embroidery was free- it turned out real cute, too.

The embroidery is free. They have blue, pink and the standard black mouse ears.

One more thing, take the time to watch the embroidery. It is done freehand and I am amazed everytime I see it. We will also be there in October and we will be getting pink & blue ones for our new twins.

Just as an added FYI, they don't do nicknames. It has to be a proper name that you want done.
I'm hoping that they will allow me to put PJ on the back of our ears and not just Patrick.

I wonder what prompted that change? My second pair of ears (from many moons ago) had "Lady" on the back. That was what my bf at the time called me, so that's what he had put on the ears.

I was hoping for mom, but may go nameless.

Diana/DWhittles....yes they will allow PJ on the mouse ears, we were just there in early May and we got ds one that said PJ, it's been his nickname since he was very little. I asked about it when we got to the shop regarding stitching nicknames and they said no problem!

That is odd that they would tell you what you can and cannot put on the ears.

I mean I could understand it if it were something inappropriate, but not even a nickname?

I won't have a problem, my DD's names are Ashlyn and Lauren, no nicknames there.... but I sure would be disappointed if I did want something else and they refused to put it on there for us.

Since we're on the subject of ears...

Does anyone know how much the
bride & groom ears are?
I've read something about 2 types??
Also, can you get names put on those?
It looked like there was only one type
of groom ears - a tophat - that looked
like something could be put on the back.
But I don't have any info on the bride ears...

Do you get them at the same place as
the other ears?

Thanks for any help :D

...We're celebrating our anniversary
(was supposed to be our 10th,
but now had to postpone to 2005
and celebrate our 11th).
But, the REAL celebration will be our
DS's 2nd birthday!

Thanks a ton Thatchicktrish!
That's good to know! I cannot WAIT to get him in his first set of ears!

The Chapeau off to the right after the flagpole as you enter MK has a great variety of hats. (Ears and wedding ears too.)

It's connected to the candy store - Across the street from the Emporium. Some guides have said that other locations charge for embroidery, but I know that The Chapeau doesn't.

It's so soon I can taste the Dole Whips! :hyper:

Umm.. I never knew that you couldn't put nicknames on the hats. I got my mom a pair with "Daisy" on it because that is her PT Cruiser's Name (and her club nick name) I do know/understand you can not put company, team, etc on them. Such as get on that says Giants or Burger King.
