Mouse Ears - Confess who really wears them?

I got the headband with Minnie ears - love it
sometimes I'll put them on to cheer me up

at the parks - I wear them as soon as I get them (the headband broke so I need a new set)

I have seen a lot of people adults and children around the parks wearing their ears or some sort of "disney" hat. My husband and I wore the bride and groom mickey ears on our honeymoon. We didn't wear them every day... I told him he had to wear them all day just one day and he picked the day. My kids have the original ears with their names on it which they have in their rooms. We always buy them some sort of hat at disney and they usually wear that most of the trip. My daughter always picks "ears"... she has pirate ears, princess ears, regular ears.... while my son buys a baseball cap, or something like that. Personally... there is no other place in the world where a grown man/woman can walk about all day with "ears" or a goofy hat!

I'm a 35 year old father of five, and I wear my mouse ears pretty much every single day while we're at WDW - in fact, I may wear mine more than anyone else in the family. :) Then again, I wear my Tigger Santa hat at Christmas, and have been known to act like a kid quite a bit, so I may not be the best person to ask.

There are lots of adults who wear mouse ears at WDW.

We wore them when we went for our Honeymoon!

We typically don't wear them-- they're fun and we're not ashamed but DH likes to wear regular hats and I usually try to do something with my hair. :)

I am a 31 female who proudly wears pink leopard print mickey ears (the headband style ones) and I love them, i had the wedding ones when we went on honeymoon.

Also I have the ones with the black sparkly mickey head boppers.( You know mickey heads on springs)

I don't wear them at home but i dont care when i am there.

This year I want the normal leopard print ones but will be taking my pink ones. DH has the tigger headband ears that used to be on sale and he is a 6foot 10 bloke he has yet to wear them in the park but maybe this year he will.

I'm an "older" adult, and I have several pair that I wear. A really kool pair is the navy blue ones that light up! I Love those! I wear them just to make little kids want them (he-he) . I also have a golden pair of Mickey Ears from Disneyland's 50th Anniversary, wore them proudly down Main Street. Whaddya mean, confess???? It's the Land of the Mouse, you practically have to wear them to fit in. Where's your ears?:rotfl2:

I wear either one of minnie ear headbands (black sequin with red bow or pink sequin) or a sparkly tiara every day that I am in the parks :earsboy:

Yup.. Usually don't start out my magic kingdom and Disneyland days without them!! I even have my name on the back of mine! I love them!! Then at night I change into my light up mickey ears!! :)

I do! I have bins full here at home, and I get a new pair each time I go. I wear anything - the ear hats, ear headbands, all of it! I'll be 23 on Thursday, for reference! :) I take pride in my Mouse Ears. Normally I hate headbands too. In fact, my current Facebook/Twitter default pictures are me in a set of the Minnie headband ears with the red bow! My girlfriends also wear them, and we're all in the same age range (22-25). Even our boyfriends will get in on the action!

I have seen people of all ages wear them! My brothers don't know it yet but when I was at WDW in March I bought them the graduation ears to wear on our trip next week to celebrate their graduation! I doubt they will wear them, being teenage boys and all but it's worth a try!

I wore the bride ears for my honeymoon, but I admit I sometimes found it annoying to take them off and put them in the backpack before each ride. Maybe I didn't need to do that, but I worried about losing them. If I get to go back, I know I'll want ears again anyway... I was 23 then, 26 now, and don't expect to return until I'm 28.

I like to wear them for pictures, and I WOULD wear them all day, but I find the elastic band to be really itchy and uncomfortable so they usually end up off.

Maybe next time I should try a headband....

I do I do!

It's totally imperative for my overall look, lol.:lmao:
Seriously though, it's the one place on Earth I am willing to look really goofy and crazy for a week.

When I took my first trip to WDW last year I was hoping to be able to buy the Stitch ears headband, and was really disappointed to get there and find out they don't have them anymore.

So I bought a pair on ebay for my next trip, and you're darned right I'll be wearing them.

We do, we do!
