Mouse Ears - Confess who really wears them?

I've been wanting a pair but I'm always afraid the head band will give me a headache. Do the beanie type come with a chin strap or do they fit on your head without one? I get headaches pretty easy so last time I stuck with a tiara that was really easy to take on and off.

There is an elastic chin strap, but I never use it on my chin. Instead it goes in the back around my hair. I can do this with the hair down, or wrap it around a pony tail or bun. This way it stays in place even on fast attractions.

Around a pony tail, that's a great idea!! I'm going to try that next time because I've been dying for a pair but wasn't sure I would dig a strap digging into my chin all day. Thanks!:thumbsup2

Before our trip last September I bought DD a Minnie Mouse baseball cap w/ sunglasses it's pink with the ears and everything. She wore that quite a bit. Then on our trip we bought her a pink pirate hat and she wore that. After we got home the strap broke, but she still wears it around the house.

I bought a pink visor with a Mickey head on it. I wore it our whole trip and I even wear it at home to the zoo or whatever to keep the sun out of my face.

DH doesn't have one, but he did buy a brown rock n roll coaster baseball cap on our last trip.

I wasn't going to get one for myself, but DH surprised me with one on our last trip! It was a headband with sparkely silver ears and a bow. Loved it! And I saw a bunch of other women wearing the same as me.

I do, I do! I wear them at WDW and I wear them at home when I need a DisFix. My boys love wearing their ears around the house, too. Especially while we are riding the "monorail" ;) on the back porch.

We're here with a family of 14 and I've been trying to convince everyone to get the ears so we can wear them around the parks. The guys are the ones that need the convincing, but after discovering the Star Wars ears, I'm hoping we'll all be wearing them tomorrow :earsboy: :darth:

This is how I wear mine too. I am 38 and I went with my cousins (30 and 28) last winter and we all wore them.

One year I bought a pair of fluffy pink maribou-feather Minnie ears (on a headband). Absolutely love them - in fact, one day the "real" Minnie "stole" them from me at a character meal. Apparently she thought they were really cool.

My husband has bought my a "Class of 2011" Mickey Ears.

He won't let me look at them until I defend my dissertation.

I hope to wear them on my trip in September!

The cool thing is that its blue, like my school colors.

I can't wait to go to the Chapeau and have them embroider "Doc" on the back of the mickey ears!!

I only have the Santa Mickey Hat.

I wore it most of December. However it fits really small so I could only wear it a few hours at a time without my head hurting.

I got the headband with Minnie ears - love it
sometimes I'll put them on to cheer me up

at the parks - I wear them as soon as I get them (the headband broke so I need a new set)

We got the bride and groom ears on our Honeymoon.

I also have a set of the twinkling Year of a Million Dreams ears (the ones you buy, not the dream ears) and we got the lighter blue Dream Ears twice. DH also has a set of the R2-D2 ears.

The only reason I won't wear my ears is when it's so sunny and bright that I have to wear my big floppy hat to keep the sun off of my face and neck. I'm really susceptible to sunburn.

My 3-year-old daughter insisted that I wear her Minnie ears (with the big bow--same as Princess Sleepy's above) last week.

To the grocery store.

In Belgium.

:rolleyes1

I figured, why the heck not! It was the American grocery store on the military base...not sure if I would have done it at the local Belgian store...

I do, sort of. I have the minnie headband ears that I wear a few days but I am usually wearing my BBB tiara-we go in September and unfortunately ponytails and earcaps don't work real well together.

*raises hand*

I do, I do!

I wore them the first time I visited Disneyland in 2005 and again when I went in 2009.

I wore brides' ears on my honeymoon and got lots of free stuff and extra attention from the cast members.

I can't wear them now because my hair is curly and puffy, but in January, I put my hair in pigtails with Mickey Mouse hair doodles!

Although, I suppose I could get the headband Minnie ears. So I might do that next week. :)
