Mouse ear favors

I want to give my guest mouse ears as my favor. For other brides who have done this will the wedding planners get them for you or did u go to the hat stores yourself and have them make all the hats at once. I feel like i will be backing up the people at the place that puts the names on when i have them do 30 at once. Also can it be counted towards your minimum you have to spend?

Maybe if you could somehow order them through the florist they could count towards your minimums...

Anyhoo there are def quiet times you could go and have them done. You could also just write out a list of everyones names and leave it with the hat people and come back at the end of the day to pick the hats up.

I love the hats - I think if you are having a non-disney disney wedding its a great touch!

No worries - lots of people have had this idea.

You can get them from Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings via the WDW Florist and that will count toward your minimum. However, the charge to have them embroidered by the WDW Florist is pretty high - like $7 or $8 each!

We bought ours at Disneyland and then left them with the embroiderers at the Main Street hat shop along with a list of the names. They just told us to come back in an hour, or whatever, and it was no trouble at all. At the time, Disneyland wasn't charging for embroidery (this may have changed) *and* they were charging less for the ears than WDW, so this worked out really well!

My sister bought all my ear hats for me with her CM discount. Then I sent them over to Rose and had her embroider them for me for $8 each. When you have Disney floral embroider them, you have many more options when it comes to thread color and fonts. I chose lavender thread for the girls and baby blue thread for the boys in Disney font. I think the stores only have 1 or 2 different fonts. Rose gave me about 2 pages worth of fonts to chose from.

The hats did not count towards my minimum since I didn't order them through Disney floral but the embroidering cost did.
