This isn’t about your favorite - this is your opinion of the four most iconic DVC resorts. You all know the Mount Rushmore discussions. These four are the big hitters of Disney Resorts. Who you putting up there? Go!

Examples please! One negative to poly would be....... actually I can’t think of one
1) The magnificent waterfall in the lobby. At one point it even had exotic birds.
2) They turned the tropical river in back of the GCH into a “putting green”. I guess to give better view to the castle and use that as movie night. It totally wrecked the tropical look.
3) Too many Cabanas. Ruined the coastline look.

1. Totally agree the waterfall made the lobby
2. The amazing various views of the castle is one of the best things about the resort
3. Sure

Nothing about the resort is wrecked. Even without the monorail, dining/bar and renovations going on the resort is still amazing. Theming, location, views, cast members, transportation, pool and now walkability make this a top tier DVC resort. If I had to pick one negative about the resort it would be studio and bungalow only but thats nothing new.

#2.... for us purists, the Poly was not about seeing the castle at the expense of major lush, tropical landscaping.

Honestly, it’s just the two original. Poly and the Contemporary.

Stayed at the CR when I was 16 with some friends..yeah no idea how we were allowed with no adult..and used the monorail between the two!

They are simply THE WDW resorts!!!

Fort Wilderness was also an original...

And the Tangarooa (sp?) restaurant. What a loss. But we’re going back a ways with that one.
To be honest I’ve never heard of that place but Google image shows an awesome spot! To say the resort is “wrecked” because of cabanas and minimizing tropical looks behind ceremonial house is a push. The resort has a lot going for it a

Everyone knows the poly! Put it up on the board!

The building is still there. Not sure what they use it for now.
