Wow, one of my teenage local bands is finally calling it quits?

I remember calling KLOS several times a day requesting some Crue. They would NEVER play it until years and years later. :lmao:

From the look of Mick Mars, I'm not sure he could physically handle more than one more tour.

I've seen them so many times and I'll go one last time. LOVE THEM.

However, I have serious concerns about this "country tribute album" please someone tell me this is a joke. It would be one thing if it wasn't Big Machine doing it but the only Big Machine act that should be anywhere near the same room with a Motley Crue song is The Cadillac Three. I might actually cry if they give FGL a track.

I LOVE CRUE.....I wear a shirt that says, Mrs. Nikki Sixx :) Tix go on sale Saturday, I am thinking of a new shirt for the tour.

Anyway, it is my understanding that they signed a legal contract that they cannot tour past 2015.

They signed a Cessation of Touring agreement.

Motley Crue has been my favorite band since I was 11 years old. I'm 42 now. I will be going to see them in VA Beach, Bristow, VA and Phoenix with one of my Crue pen pals from way back.

3 times in Wi.
I see they are at Summerfest on the 4th of July,
I wonder if they will be a headliner, I bet they are.
But last year Imagine Dragons wasn't a headliner and played on a sponsored stage and the crowd was uncontrolled, you literally could not move. I am hoping Summerfest brings them back! But Summerfest keeps bringing these old bands back as headliners, sorry I am not paying for a ticket just to help them have money for their retirement. I saw Alice Cooper 35 years ago at our State Fair and thought he was old then, he must be in his 70's.

Saw them a few months ago, and I got the impression that something is wrong, health wise, with Mick Marrs. He could play that guitar like he was 25, but he could barely walk. We were right up at the stage and could see them help him up and down the stairs too.

He still rocked those platform boots though! :lmao:

He has ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic, inflammatory form of arthritis that mainly affects the spine and pelvis.

I would love to go see them at Summerfest for the 4th of July, but DH says we're going to wait until November when they come to Green Bay! Fun, fun!

Terri

I am more a fan of Alice Cooper; I've never seen Crue, but would go. Love Nikki Sixx!!!
