Have you tried ginger tablets, made by Gravol? I think they would sell that in the USA, I know they sell it in Canada - NO drowsy effects, and it is supposed to work very well. They tried ginger on mythbusters for motion sickness, and it was one of the only natural remedies that worked.
Other people swear by taking a children's Gravol tab. for fewer side effects than regular Gravol.
Do NOT do the goat trick; no goat there now, but don't try it without the goat, anyway.
Also, if you take something, make sure you take it at least an hour prior to. I find when I take real Gravol it always takes that long to kick in.
Don't go on the spinning tea cup ride, but I guess you knew that. I have always had pretty severe motion sickness when traveling in a vehicle even across town, but for some reason, the rides don't bother me that much. On California Screamin', I really move my body in to the banked turns, etc. and that helps a lot.
Good luck, and have fun!!
