Motion sickness on Soaring?

I have some motion sickness issues. I couldn't do body wars very well back in the day. I can do okay on the mission space level green or even Star Tours but not so good on teacups. I've done them once in my life so I can say I have.

I'm not real good with I-Max theater things generally but I am actually pretty good on Soarin'. If I feel a slight yuck coming on I try to look to off screen.

I recommend bringing a air-sickness bag of sorts, JIC. I've never actually thrown up on a ride but I do carry some sort of bag in case. At least that way I don't also have the fear of being the cause of an unpleasant experience for others.

Soarin' does not bother me as much as I-MAX shows do. Although... at I-MAX shows I could completely close my eyes and pretend I'm just listening to audio.

Ever since the first time riding Soarin, the initial take off makes me queasy if I keep my eyes open

I was glad I took meclizine with me, or I'd have been barfing through darn near every ride. Even with the anti-motion sickness stuff, I thought I was going to die after EE and star tours. :crazy2: Didn't have enough guts to try mission or fasttrack. Anyone have any experience using the prescription patches? I'm thinking of asking my doc for some. I love to experience the rides, but it's not so enjoyable when I start turning green ten seconds in. :guilty:
