Mother's Day while on the Magic

Does anyone know if Disney does anything special for Mother's Day. We will be on the 7 night western cruise and in Key West on Mother's Day. My husband and kids are trying to plan in advance.

I say just send me off for a massage and I'll be happy.....

We've sailed on both the Magic and Wonder on Mother's Day and all I've ever seen is a special cake at the enterance to the resturants.

We sailed with my MIL for Mother's Day and had a basket made for her by Shirley at The Perfect Gift. She loved it!

We sailed on the Wonder last year at Mother's Day. They had limited edition Mother's Day Cruise pins for sale.

Oh yeah. now lets see one pin for me as I am a Mother, one pin for my Mom who is coming and she's a Mother and then my DD should get one pin for me as I am a Mother and one for her Nana as she is a Mother ( once removed) . Darn I wish I had a dog at home that was once a Mother than I could get her a pin too, but I could get one pin for me as I ( did I mention) a MOTHER! By the way I have this little habit called PIN COLLECTING...and some times I get a little

Leahpie - You just saved my ummmm "behind". With all of the other things going on with DCL planning, I forgot about Mothers day. This was indeed a good reminder for me of another thing I need to plan for (For both my wife and my mother who is going on the cruise as well). Thanks again - Mike

We've sailed on two prior Mother's Day and there isn't anything special except for the previously mentioned cake.

However, I do try to 'surprise' my wife with a massage or spa treatment.

Thanks for the responses. I'll tell my DH that a nice massage would be the perfect Mother's Day gift. I can do without the calories in the cake-I prefer chocolate souffle anyways.

Since its just me and my daughter sailing May 8th and she is only 4 I will have to buy my self something for Mothers Day...I was hoping maybe Disney would give out a flower or something to the moms....oh well.....

We were on the Magic last year (hi Mary!) and all they had was a cake at the entrance to the restaurant (which was not served to us). It was the regular dinner menu and dessert of the rotation restaurant. Our server did talk my husband into ordering me a glass of champagne before I was at the table (I was in the infirmary with my daughter, Happy Mother's Day) and it turned out to be a $16 glass! I made sure I finished it

I can't think of a better place to celebrate Mother's Day than on the Magic. I wish we were going back this year.
