Does anyone know if there is anything special that goes on for Mother's Day in Disney. Do you think it will be extra crowded on the day, especially for breakfasts????

I think it's at Epcot and it's a very popular event. I'm sure there will be other posters that will fill in the gaps. This brunch is in special honor of moms.

We've gone down on Mother's Day often. Not really any more crowded in the parks than any other day in May. Most restaurants are crowded, however, as MD is a very popular dining out day. Should add that breakfasts don't seem too overcrowded, but dinners often are and I'd recommend PS for any dinner meals you want to try.

I remember the year we did breakfast at the GF Cafe on Mother's Day and they gave each mother a rose.. it was a lovely breakfast and a nice tribute from Disney...

We were there for Mother's Day several years ago, myself, dh, our two kids, niece and my mom. We had a really nice Character breakfast at the Swan or Dolphin. It started out the day very nicely.

We were there twice for Mother's Day and you would have never know it was Mother's Day! In a matter of fact, it was not busy or crowded at all. I did see some Mother's with a long stem carnation, But I never got one. But one Mother told me that Disney was handing them out! I am never in the right place for things like that, but I didn't mind because I was in WDW!!! I was also told that most locals go out to eat and visit ect.. which makses the crowds a little lighter!
