I don't mind the various cards, but I don't like spending much on them. I usually stick to the .99 cards, they get the point across without costing a fortune. The man in front of me today spent over $12 on three cards. If it was me, I'd bank the extra $9 and buy something improtant like food with it.
We have 7 family birthdays in the first week of May (including DD's). Add in my DS's confirmation, Mother's Day, three high school graduations and a college graduation, and you've got a boatload of $$ dropped at Hallmark.



I didn't expect it, but it definitely made my day. I don't think my husband went to Hallmark with the intention of buying a card from the dog though.
My kids made or bought their own cards for me, but I guess he thought the dog needed a little help.
