Making a comeback here, all 5 weddings I've gone to in the last 2 years had a mother-son dance. DW is taking dance lessons for our son's upcoming wedding.

I tried to get my son to use The Intruders "I'll always love my mama" as his first dance song with his wife. He wouldn't go for it, wonder why? We didn't do a mother son dance, I'm not big on having the spotlight on me so they had to force me to even do the candle lighting before the ceremony.

Several years ago I was at a wedding where the Mother/Son dance was to Rod Stewart's Forever Young. I thought it was strange at the time but after awhile it really grew on me. I always loved that song and it is very fitting. Not too fast but not too slow. Meaningful lyrics.
