Got to try that flatbread next time we go to Chefs. There's nothing better than onion and bacon together.

My DD did the same thing with onion soup (not at Chefs though). She's very picky but I always ask her to try something. I love onion soup and she wouldn't go near it until she finally gave in and wouldn't give it back. Now its her favorite but she always asks for as little onions as possible, mostly broth. Soup is my favorite food and now she tries all of them when we go out and is loving them and eating my soups! I love when the kids learn to like a food but I'm not happy with this losing my soup thing!

I love your seat. I think you had the best seat in the house!

I was actually very torn about leaving our DISmeet to ride Soarin' because I was having so much fun and I wanted to stay. I guess I'm glad that we did use the fastpass because that was our only chance to ride Soarin' but I wish we would have walked over to see if you all wanted to hang out longer!

Tracy, I had a very similar meal and seating locations with two minor differences.... no Remy (timing off) and they were out of profiteroles!! But reading your review of this dessert maybe that was just as well.

Like Joh said, we we could have chatted longer but I am so glad that we all were able to meet up! I do have to say that Soarin' is a pretty awesome ride so I completely understand!

Glad that you loved your meal! It is one of the few restaurants that we have booked everytime we have been to WDW. (Lunch only since I prefer that menu.)

It seems like she's suddenly trying some new things and I love it! I just wish she'd like red sauces so we could have more meals with things like lasagna and pizza!

After starting with a Grey Goose slushy drink and then moving to Rose & Crown I was ready to make a night of it too!

I really think that the profiteroles would have been amazing if the choux puffs weren't so dry. Despite the fact that they were a little dry, I would still have them again though!!

At least we were able to see you again at CRT! I think that Chefs is going to be our must do at WDW from now on.

I'm exactly the same way! Once it got close I was pretty confident in our choices and stopped changing (but only because I was too busy at work to think about it!). I sure hope you enjoy it!

It just hit me that the sausage has not made an appearance yet!! I really can't go any further without the sausage.

One of my goals for this trip was to get at least three stealth photos of the sausage with characters. So here we go!

Several DIS members even got to MEET the sausage in person (in sausage?)!! I bet you are all jealous!

What part of WI are you from? I grew up in Sturgeon Bay... My parents now live in Winneconne (near Oshkosh) I went to at UW-Oshkosh for both my degrees! (Even though for the second one I had been living in CA for several years! )

Before I left for our trip Barb (jabead) got in touch and kindly offered to post any live reviews if I was interested. Of course I was interested and it as so sweet of her to ask! So I had texted her a photo of Eilee and the turkey leg. We texted back and forth here and there and while Eilee was at her class I let her know that I was at AK and the told me that Goofysonsmom (Vicki) was also at AK that day and to be on the lookout. I actually did see her but was too chicken to go up to her! Now I know that Vicki is a sweetheart and I totally would have been fine doing that! And then Barb mentioned that emmysmommy (Brenda) was going to meet up with Vicki the following day in Epcot and seeing as I had an ADR at Les Chef, I should get in touch and she gave me Brenda's number. I sent a text to Brenda and she said that we were more than welcome to meet them as well! and she said that wilma-bride (Joh) was also going to be there!

It was all set that we would meet at France at 3:30 pm. After our lunch at Les Chefs we had about an hour and a half. So I got some nice shots of Eilee in Epcot.

Eilee is currently obsessed with the UK so we went there because she wanted a UK bracelet and she got one for her friend as well. It was also a nice opportunity to make her take some more photos because I'm a mom and that's what moms do!

When it was getting close to 3:30 we started walking towards France and when we were getting close I realized that I desperately needed a Grey Goose slushy drink! When we got to France I thought I saw Vicki and her DH sitting on a bench but I had to get my drink first! Eilee and I walked back over and sure enough, it was goofysonsmom!! I gave her a hug and her DH thought she could use a slushy drink as well so we sat down and talked like we've known each other forever. Soon wilma-bride (Joh) showed up!! Joh didn't want to feel left out so she went over and grabbed a Grey Goose Slushy drink as well! Of course I loved Joh instantly as well. Eilee's ears perked up and she said "Is she from the UK mom?" and I said yes and she said "I could listen to her talk all day" and I sure wished we could have! It certainly couldn't get any more fun than this could it??

And then emmysmommy arrived with her DH and Emily! We all hugged and talked and got some photos. Here we are!

It looks like Joh is the only one with a drink but Vicki and I were just sneaky about hiding ours.

And it seems like all at once they all said "Where is the sausage???" So even the sausage came to the DISmeet!

Here's one of all of us with the sausage!

It was so hot and we were all sweating up a storm so we decided to walk to Rose & Crown so we could get out of the heat and have a drink. Andrew went in to scout it out for us and we were able to stand in the bar area. It was so much fun and I have to say that I love these ladies and their families. I don't have a boy so I was expecting a teen boy to think it was weird with all of these ladies and he was charming and funny, such a nice young lad. And Miss Emily was as sweet as she looks and she is a tiny little thing! Eilee said "I love her style mom, her outfit is so cute". I wondered if Emily knew how much her mom is loved on this board but there can't be any doubt with all of us being so excited to meet her! I"m also pretty sure that Vince would think I was crazy for wanting to meet people that I know from the internet but the DHs were totally cool and joined in the fun!

Sadly, my kid was the shy one here and normally she's not at all! I was having such a great time visiting with everyone and I confessed to Joh that I once spent an entire day at work reading all of her trip reports! I definitely need to get together with her again to have another drink and eat some unadventurous food...like roast!

Unfortunately Eilee and I had those fast passes that we'd picked up before lunch and it was getting close to the end of the time frame that we could use them. I was sad to leave but we had not done Soarin' yet and I refuse to leave WDW without riding it at least once. So we had to leave the party but I was so glad that the sausage, Eilee and I had gotten to meet them. Afterwards I sent a text to my friend Nancy and said "I had a DISmeet today and not one of them was a weirdo!" And thank you Barb for helping us out and hooking us up!

I didn't go to Chefs planning to order that flatbread at all! I had several other things picked out and it caught my eye when I saw it on the menu. I'm so glad that it ended up being great! and even though the puffs were dry, I still loved that awesome chocolate sauce and I ate every bit of that dessert! And Eilee also loved the creme brulee so I don't think you can go wrong.

I'm from the tippy top of WI actually, right up on Lake Superior but I went to college at UW-River Falls and I just sort of stayed there.

Agreed that this is the best place for a Dismeet!! It was so much fun. It was my first Dismeet ever and I'm so glad I was able to meet these ladies because I loved every one of them!

I am sorry I never really got a chance to speak to her properly. I hadn't realised she was such a fan of the UK and I thought she was incredibly shy which was why I never tried to push her to speak to me.

You shoud definitely start planning that trip over here, I would love to see you both again, meet Vince and have you meet the rest of my family
