Most romantic value resort???

Not sure if I'm missing something but I don't see how a ton of screaming kids at the value resorts and the decor there = romantic? I'd say upgrade to a moderate for the 60 or so a night.

If you do choose a value, I'll never go back to the All stars, as I"ve stayed there twice and felt like I was at summer camp. I'd go with Pop as I checked out the pictures and actually must agree with others and say it looks nice.

Movies and Pop both have tons of screaming kids.
When I decided to stay at value I bought Birnbaum's Walt Disney World Without Kids Guide.

Under his resort tips he wrote:

"These resorts attract familieswith small childrenin droves. All-Star Music tends to have a higher ratio of adults to children."


And in my experiences it has been that way. More adults --less sreaming children.

ASMu might have less overall kids, but I think Pop is more fun for adults. Only adults can truly appreciate the icons from the different decades since they will remember all the stuff! The path along the lake is really nice and quiet (no lake at All Stars), and there's even an indoor lounge at Pop, which All Stars don't have either.

Maybe if I get a really big tax return we can upgrade. HECK by then I will be married and that should count for some kind of tax break!

Ha! Only if you have kids and buy a house. I got married last year, and I got more of a refund as a single than married!

I have stayed at all the All Stars and Pop.

I will pick Pop in the future. It is different. and I am not the only adult staying there without kids - there are several of us....promise!!! - generally solo or couples....

I know you enjoy the lake and the All Stars do not have a lake. I live on a private all sports lake so the lake is not a big draw for me.
I am sure the are lots of couples without kids who stay at Pop. But, honestly do the adults at Pop really out number the children?

During my past stays at All Star Music I can honestly say it seemed like there were more adults staying there then young children.
Maybe I was just lucky.

Maybe Music is just the last value to fill up because of the theming.

I always see threads that Pop and Movies are sold out and the only values left to book are Sports and Music.
