You'd need to talk to Sony about that. This is straight out of the EXIF data. Some manufacturers put text in there that makes lots of sense, some dont. Some manufacturers are consistent with what they put in there among their various models, some aren't.

I think this is more representative of the photo contests and not the board itself. That is, unless most people here usually participate in the contests.

I think in this board, the Nikon D60 and D90 are a lot more popular (especially than the D50), as is the Canon XSi. I could be wrong, but that would be my perception based on posts.

not really, if you know it is the sony, couldn't you change that for the benefit of those who wouldn't know,

and actually if you check your exif info again, it is on 2 lines,

Sony's Exif makes a lot of sense..
