Most of all, I am SO glad I packed....?

We like our shoe organizer with clear pockets...you cannot hang them over the door anymore, so we take zip-ties and tie it on the towel bar. It is good to keep everyone's toothpaste/brushes/hair stuff/deodorant/various items, so you can keep the counters clear.

Ziploc Bags, Pop-up Hamper, Purex 3in1- laundry soap and softener sheets(easy to pack).

One thing we do is, we put our life jackets under our bed (you can put them close to the bottom along the edge for quick access...if needed), so it opens up the top shelf in the closet.

An extra duffle bag that folds flat in your luggage, to be able to put dirty clothes, etc. in...so you have room for souvenirs in your regular luggage.

Portable luggage scale....especially if you are checking your luggage in at the end of your cruise.

Sharpies and highlighters.....to be able to mark things on the navigator....Dry Erase Board, to let your cruising buddies know where you are...

The PPs comments about the collapsible hamper is a great one. We bought ours at Five Below and it's been one of our favorite items to pack. It does fit nicely on top of the safe in the closet and is so nice to just grab and go to the laundry room. We bring clean bags to put the clean clothes in when done. The one I have has a side pocket where we put the detergent (we pre-buy before leaving home -- cheaper).

These hampers are also a great idea in hotels -- even if you don't do laundry while you are there, it keeps all the dirty laundry together and then you can just bag it and pack it rather than looking all around (and on the floor and under the beds) for those socks, etc.

I agree with all of the PPs. Scissors in my toiletry bag, tweezers, refillable water bottle, DEET, sunburn relief, a small cross body purse for cabin phone, cell phone for pictures and DCL app access, & KTTW, OTC meds!

I haven't been on a cruise yet, but I love my KYSS locking bag that I bought after reading about them on line. We use it at the Disney water parks every trip. It is a great way to secure your things while you swim.

It has a chain that goes around the leg of your chair or anything stationary near by. There is a lock on the end of the chain that goes through the bag's zipper. www.kyssbags.com

travel journal. we usually travel with extended family and everyone takes a turn writing the days activities.

Shower gel. They provide soap but it dries my skin out so I like to bring a travel sized shower gel.

Power cord with extra outlets! With 2 teenage girls on trip it was a MUST HAVE!!! (phone charger, curling irons, etc....) I think there were only 2 outlets along desk/dresser and a designated one for the hair dryer. My cord had 4 or 5 additional and they were mostly always full!

I thought I read somewhere that power strips aren't allowed anymore?I might be mistaken, but it's worth looking into if you had planned on bringing one. I am bringing a USB hub so I can charge all the phones.

Power cords and surge protectors are prohibited.

Hmmm....we were on 3/26 sailing on Fantasy...room host didn't say anything.
Typically, the room host won't say anything. But, sometimes, will always make sure it's not plugged in.

Here it is from the DCL website:

Air freshener for the bathroom and foaming soap in the same scent. Not only is it nice to not smell everyone else's business, but our first cruise was almost 2 years ago and whenever I smell that scent I am taken back to the Dream...
