In 30 plus trips I think I have only seen Cruella De Ville once. Any other hard to come by ones, you can think of?

Recently while cleaning out some old boxes, I ran across my old autograph book from when I was a kid, I think most were from 1989/1990, I was cracking up over the obscure characters I had autographs for. I had pretty much the entire cast of Robin Hood, and at least 2 ninja turtles.

Dumbo is probably the rarest *active* character at WDW as he's NEVER made public M&Gs, only specialty events (other parks around the world have characters we've never even seen - Berlioz is an obvious need for me)

My rarest meets are Kala, Kerchak, and Queen Elinor. Kala and Kerchak are not WDW characters so they came in then left in a hot second. Elinor has only made 1 public appearance during a special Food and Wine event (which was accompanied by a pretty price tag)

Regular WDW characters are sorted here by the likelihood of meeting them:

WDW CHARACTER FREQUENCY

We took the holiday tour at Disneyland last month. While walking through the park on the tour, we walked right past a big group of rare characters (a couple from Robin Hood, Gepetto, Genie, the Brer's, and a few more). My jaw hit the ground. I have fussed for some time about how hard it is to find rare characters..... and there they were...... but we were on a TOUR and couldn't stop! Just my luck. They were creating quite a traffic jam so while the group tried to get through I grabbed a few quick photos. But I would have loved to have a little more time. I did ask one of the character handlers if they would be out another day..... and was told no, it was just something special for that day. Just my luck!

On the up side, we had an AWESOME meeting with Cruella near the front of the park a few days later!

I'm still waiting on Berlioz and Toulouse to join Marie in the MK. Can you light a fire under that? ;) We'd be right in line behind you. :)

Oh my! I'd give up TSMM, Soarin', EE, and the supposedly coming 7DMT for Berlioz and Toulouse. Do they meet in DLP?

Katie would give those up for Marie's brothers too!

We were going in the heyday of the early 2000s when there were a lot more characters out and about, but our white whale, that gets further and further out to sea, was failing to ever find Kronk from the Emperor's New Groove.

My rarest are from Bugs Life, Frances the Ladybug, and Tuck and Roll (pill bugs?) They were alone when we spotted them, at Epcot during Flower and Garden. (It was Bugs weekend or something). Tuck and Roll were acting like, well, Tuck and Roll, pushing each other and goofing around. All 3 costumes were amazing, I wish they had them around more. They would be a great addition to Bugsland at Cal Adv.

I have photos of Bullseye from MK, but have not seen him lately except in parades.

I always try for the rare characters at the Halloween parties, too.

We have seen Cruella several times. The best was at DL, we were waiting to meet Goofy and Pluto (they were posing together). JUST as we approached (3 adult women), Cruella came roaring out. Yelling that THESE were NOT the "right" kind of puppies! She was so funny, and we got photos with Pluto, Goofy, AND Cruella, all 3 together. Fun!

Got photos with the Poppins penguins at MK, in tomorrow land once, which was weird.

I love the photo! Did your get that Aurora gown at the park or did you bring it with you?

My cat (the one in my avatar) is named Toulouse, so I would be right there with you guys in line for him.

Probably the rarest I have met is Shan Yu (the villain from Mulan) and the Hag (from Snow White) and maybe Darth Vader (this was outside of Star Wars weekends).

We've had the pleasure of meeting Suzy and Perla, Jack Skellington and Sally, Cruella DeVil, all in one week!

Since we did MVMCP and MNSSHP, plus a cruise on the Disney Dream this past trip, we got to meet some more uncommon characters. These included:

So far as I know they will do M&G in DLP, but not as common characters.
They are only out on special occassions
