I am sad that I haven't seen the Folger's "PETER!" commercial this year. For some reason that defines the Christmas commercial season to me. I am now going to go look it up on YouTube.

I loved that one when I was young! Now they have some new one with a guy coming back from West Africa. The "siblings" in it are toothy. The sister puts the bow that was on the gift the brother brings her and says that he is her present this year. Doesn't measure up the the "Peter!!!" one.

This one is the first commercial for Disney I remember seeing. I love that song and still can sing it.

Somebody posted this one and though it sounds sappy, this is what I felt like everyday when I worked for WDW. It makes me feel like I'm home.

And this has to be my favorite super bowl commercial of all time!

Thought of another one. The one where the two little kids are on an elevator with their mom and they had been on a Disney cruise. The little girl tells everyone that her little brother is called their "little souvenir" from the cruise.

This is one of my favorite commercials ever...so much so that I'm downloading it as we speak so I can have it on my iPhone. Lol.

Funnily enough, the system I was working on at the time (international cablegram service for AT&T) was one of the few systems worldwide that actually experienced what everyone was afraid Y2K would do. I had these reports to run every day and when they came up blank on Jan. 2, I assumed it was a slow day the day before due to the holiday. On the 3rd when they were still blank, I scrutinized the report trying to see what the heck happened, and the date at the top was 01/03/1900.

Another one that I think was just brilliant advertising, not so much "memorable" on the level of "Peter" but the VW commercial where 2 couples are looking at a car and the one guy runs out and licks the handle to "save" the car. If you grew up in a larger family you totally get this commercial .

Okay, this one relies on you having seen The Snowman cartoon/film. Hopefully you will have your ear attuned to be able to understand the chorister but if not, just watch it carefully with the sound off. The sights you see are famous places in Scotland. Irn Bru is a soft drink BTW and it outsells Coke in Scotland. Reputed to be the solution to all hangovers.:lmao
