Most interesting mask you've seen?

I think they meant face shields aren’t allowed unless there’s a mask underneath them.

Other than catchy phrases I feel like the only other ones that interesting are the ones made to look like someone's face. Those can be quite difficult to tell far away makes you do a double take

Same for me. My workplace began providing unlimited PPE to staff and our families back in August when our mandate went in. I’ve never worn anything but the 3-ply blue non-surgicals. Around here lately I’ve begun seeing a lot of transparent plastic face shields that are suspended from a sort of eye-glasses type frame. DH has now taken to wearing a transparent plastic mask but his type is still suspended from ear loops. They sit a little off the chin and he says they’re better with his glasses.

My gym allows face shields without a mask, so that's what I wear when I do the elliptical. Makes breathing during cardio much easier.

Probably mine -- Most people in the neighborhood wears basic ones, which is great. I have bought quite a few because they convey a mood, holiday, or simply bring a smile to my son. Kiddo is too young for masks and doesn't understand why they have to be worn, so I wear fun ones for him so he's not as scared. Here's my collection so far and I just ordered one of Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger (for me, to make him less afraid).

We were using a Mickey mask bought at a Disney Store but eventually the thread came undone. We found it was three layer though.

I've got plenty of those. However, I found some black ones at Costco that cost about the same. I like those because I wear glasses and stuff from my nose pads don't leave a visible mark.

Is your gym operating outdoors?

No, my area isn’t really tough about enforcement. Other gyms are still shut down but this local chain has opened up. They limit capacity, have things spaced out for distancing, and evacuate to clean at regular intervals. The cardio area is generally pretty empty.

There was a local gym that was open for about a month after they had to go back outdoors until someone reported them. They seemed to be doing a fairly decent job trying to be safe. They actually opened up the sides of the building (had the glass removed from the windows and replaced them with roll up metal garage door style doors) for better ventilation

My daughter is unhappy because she paid for the year in January and hasn’t been able to go since Mid-March. When I told her she said “they better not be charging me when they’re supposed to be closed.”

This one closed when they first had to, but when they were first allowed to reopen they never shut down again. My area has a lot of non-compliant residents and business owners, and I think those that are supposed to enforce it are either lax or overwhelmed. I believe this gym is allowing people to suspend or cancel their memberships through this at least.
