Billy Joel

While I technically never met Billy Joel in person, one of the reporters I was working with was dating him (and had been for a while). We were driving to our next story and she was on the phone with him giving him grief over not picking up some groceries on the way home. I was laughing cause...cause she yelling at frickin' Billy Joel for not picking up groceries LOL!! Anyway, I had just seen him in concert the night before. He was playing at the Brian Wilson tribute concert at Radio City, so I said to the reporter "Hey, quite yellin' at him and tell him I loved his set at the concert last night. The song he played is my favorite." (the concert was made up of many different artists covering different Brian Wilson songs) She paused, looked at me and then told him just that. Then she smiled and said "He says to tell Jennasis thank you...that is Alexa's favorite song too."

Dd and I met Seth Rollins, Corey Graves and Ric Flair's daughter last year in NOLA. (all WWE)

Ross lynch and his band R5 got to go and have meet and greet I know they aren't super famous in general but to me they are epic and rank far higher than most celebrities these days! :yay:

I got to meet them too last April when they came to my town.

Just yesterday I got to meet Jim Brown. He was one of the best football players that ever played for the Cleveland Browns. I got to meet him at work, I actually have met a bunch of the Browns players there. I was in awe and so excited because he was my dad's hereos growing up. I lost my dad 5 years ago so it meant a bunch.

These don't count as "meeting" a famous person but... ;)

I shared a flight with Jennifer Connelly once.

I spotted Sinbad at Universal Studios several years ago and Joey from Nsync watching a parade at the MK.

I can't say I met them, but Jude Law and Sienna Miller were at the table next to me at Serendipity in NYC back when they were dating. They were with Jude's kids and one of them bumped my chair and was very nice in saying excuse me.

I met George H. W. Bush (41) a few times about 10 years ago when we'd run into him at various lunch spots. He was so friendly, surrounded by his Secret Service agents. He'd say hello and shake your hand.

My SIL told a funny story on herself. She was out shopping at the Houston Galleria and saw a woman shopping. She said "you look so familiar! Do I know you?" The woman said, "Well, I'm Barbara Bush!" My SIL was so embarrassed and she said Mrs. Bush just smiled and said it was all right.

Met = Telly "Kojak" Savalas, Dr. Will Kirby (Big Brother), Matt Dillon, Leanza Cornett and Mark Steines, Sally Struthers, Barbara Eden, Sinbad, Captain & Tennille, Christopher Cross, Phil Stacey (American Idol), Johnny Townsend (Sanford/Townsend Band), Marnie Nixon, Gordon Lightfoot, Lang Lang and Van Cliburn

This one might only be important to Canadians but I've met Brian and Mila Mulroney back when he was PM, I used to play with the Trudeau kids back in the early 80's.

But the most famous person I have ever met has to be Queen Elizabeth II. In 1981 she visited Ottawa and my sister and I waited to see her. By the time she arrived we had been waiting for hours in the rain. She came right up to us and asked if we had been waiting for long, when we told her it had been a number of hours she looked at us and said "you have been waiting so long just to see me? How lovely!"

On a trip to Hawaii with my girlfriend, we rented a car and found Magnum PI was shooting a scene. We pulled over to watch.

Tom Selleck came over to talk to us and stared at my ****s. :rolleyes2

Peter Frampton, back stage in a tent at Angel Stadium. My aunt was a flight attendant and some band member gave her two back stage tickets. She dumped me when he took her on stage to watch from there. I was in high school. "What's that funny smell?" :smokin:

October,1987, I met several famous people at a private party in Atlantic City. People at the party were Donald Trump, Don King, Mike Tyson, Oprah, Robert Duvall, David Brenner and Dennis Hopper. I judged a championship boxing match that night and we officials were given a ticket to the post fight party.

A friend of mine is a real good friend with Larry Bird and I have spent time with Larry on several occasions.

During my 35 years of judging boxing matches I have met several famous boxers and actors. Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jake "The Raging Bull" LaMotta, Roberto Duran, Oscar Le Hoya and many others.

Kissed by Ben Affleck. I think he mistook me for someone else. I'll take it! Helen Mirren. Asked me what she should say to someone in labor. (Push through the pain!) J. Lo, didn't know how to answer me when I ad libbed a question to her on set (How far apart are your contractions?)

I used to work at a concert venue so I have had my share of celebrity run ins.. Nothing too spectacular though--

Davey Jones (said hello and waved)
Luke Bryan (also said hello and waved!! SWOOOON!!)
Omarosa and Michael Clarke Duncan (just kind of in passing... I security checked her haha)

Mia Hamm (at a soccer function when I was very young)

Jim Furyk (US Open at Oakmont is within 1/4 mile from my parents house, my neighbors rented their house to his family)

Michelle We (waited on her at a bakery during Women's US Open!)

.. And there might be one or two more I'm missing!!
